We loved our stay here at the flip flop Cottage! It had everything that we needed and was very clean. But most of all we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the water! This was an ideal spot to stay for exploring all that Cabot Trails had to offer. It was also very handy to have the Rusty Anchor restaurant so nearby! We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Super nice and helpful hosts who responded quickly to our inquiries. We were a bit worried about proximity to the road, but it was surprisingly quiet, especially at night. Sunsets and sunrises were magnificent! Loved our stay!

The views from platform at the bottom of the stairs was really nice. Bed was super comfortable. Had everything we needed. We will certainly stay here again.

Decorated in a cheerful flip-flop theme, it offers all the essentials, plus a patio and a large terrace. Its highlight is a private platform, where you can watch the sun set over the Atlantic. With a bit of luck, you may even spot seals, whales, and bald eagles passing by.

Hosts were fantastic covered all of the basis! Also checked in frequently and offered up some different things to do!!! Location was the perfect spot for Cabot Trail stay!!

Awesome place to stay!

The accuracy of the online listing i gave 5 stars, but really, it wasn't accurate: it was way better!!! This was my kids favorite place to stay in a week of hotels/ places during our travels. Very nice home with water access

Ocean Views

Lovely sunsets and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. Beatifull location to just stay and relax or travel to and from for day excursions around Cape Breton.

Spectacular View!

Be sure to climb the stairs down to the platform by the sea, with Adirondack chairs in place to enjoy the spectacular view. The cottage is comfortable & well located.

Great stay at the cutest cottage

We loved this little place! It was so clean and set up so nicely. All the flip flops were a cute touch and it was perfect for our family. The place had everything we needed and more. The walk down to the ocean is so beautiful we didn’t want to leave!

Great little villa

What a lovely place to stay in. Loved how they have decorated the villa. Very comfortable and an added bonus of a nice garden to sit around the firepit and steps leading down to a couple of places where you can sit and enjoy views of the ocean. Very well situated along Cabot trail. Highly recommended.

80th Birthday Celebration

We enjoyed our stay on this property. Deck access was great for appetizers before dinner at Mountain View Restaurant just minutes away. The air conditioner was a bit noisy as they always are but the cool air was welcome. Very clean property and we had a great visit!

Absolutely perfect!

The Flip Flop Villa exceeded our expectations! The villa itself was clean, cozy, and decorated so well - we felt like we just arrived at Margaritaville! The view was incredible and the backyard was perfect for our dog to hangout. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a seaside escape!

This sweet little cottage is everything you could want and more! My partner and I only stayed one night but I would have loved to have stayed longer. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and adorable. The views were unparalleled and Brian and Elizabeth were responsive and kind! Would absolutely recommend this property for your next trip.

Fall Colours on the Cabot Trail

We loved your place! Your decor is so cute- just wondering where you got all the “flip flop” accessories. It was wonderful to stay where the coffee and tea was provided. All your toiletries were appreciated also. We liked the outdoor walk down to the platform and your fire pit. Only wish that we had allowed more time to enjoy it! We definitely would recommend your beautiful spot and hope to return ourselves when in the area!

Love the Flip Flops

Wonderful place along the ocean. Nice to have steps down to view of the ocean, seals, dolphins & sunset. Excellent restaurant with great seafood options within walking distance. Still finding flip flop decor on the second day of our stay. Brian was quick to respond to any inquiries. Simply fantastic!
