"The Hotel is part of Hotels.com VIP program. That got us free parking and a free bottle of wine (plus great rate). This was our first stay in Spain or Europe. They set the bar high with a super clean hotel, Very nice staff. It has a great bar and restaurant. "

"The room was perfect. The check in process was very overwhelming, they lock up at night and you can’t get in. Was stuck outside in the pouring rain for over 20 min. I called the number but don’t speak Spanish so the older gentleman at the desk hung up on me. I had to get someone to call for me and put them on speaker to talk to him before being able to get in. I was one of 2 stuck outside in the rain unable to get in. Nowhere on your booking does it say you can’t check in in the evening. Throughout the stay the older gentleman at the front desk was so incredibly rude. But the younger gentleman was so kind and helpful. The lights stay off in the stairwells and hallways and are motion sensored, but the sensors only work sometimes. So a few times I was going up or down 3 flights of stairs in the pitch black. Don’t think i would stay here again. "

"Clean room,nice bed.Decent breakfast given the price. Did not like the €9 charge for parking that was not the case on previous visits."

"This hotel was lovely and puts American ones to shame . We were however very upset about the choice of this location for our travel needs. The Expedia agent I worked with when our plans changed about staying in downtown Madrid to staying one night near the airport before our flight to Amsterdam. Not knowing the city, I relied on the agent's skill to make an appropriate choice. This hotel was in the exact opposite of the area we needed and consequently it cost us an extra 50 Euros to get to the airport and through horrendous traffic early in the morning!. I am sure I will be a long time before trusting an agent with Expedia."
