「A true hidden gem on Isla Colon. The grounds are teeming with wildlife and the 'pod' style lodging is such a unique experience. Despite having no AC, the pods stayed surprisingly comfortable. This was the first place on our trip with truly clean sheets and a comfortable bed. The staff is efficient and kind, and the included breakfast was excellent. It’s a peaceful, well-managed sanctuary away from the town noise.」

「Fantastic stay. Clean rooms, beautiful property, great service, good food and cocktails, excellent front of house staff for arranging transportation. The views from the main restaurant, beach bar and ocean front room, were well worth it. Watching the surfers was very entertaining. Staff went above and beyond, including making sure we caught our water taxi and driver, to organizing a tv to watch the Super Bowl. The only caution would be that the hotel is out of the action. 「The view was amazing, we were on the top floor. We got breakfast included and it the vouchers were always ready for us in the morning. The only thing my husband didn’t like is the key system because you leave the key at the front desk but he didn’t feel it was safe because he felt anyone could just walk up and say they are in our room, they didn’t validate that the key was ours. BUT besides that the room was lovely, staff were friendly and we had a blast! 」

「The Bambuda Lodge is a great place to stay and relax. It says Hostel but it is much more than that. You can book your private rooms and still enjoy the community. They offer a family dinner with different dishes to choose from every day and you easily get to know other travelers. There is regular activities planned.
