It was quiet and we had a very relaxing weekend we weren’t able to do a lot in the hotel because prices are high but we went out and we find better prices. We did massages with Irene she is great and professional, i heard a lot about employees not getting breaks and not getting paid enough and i understand why the costumer service is not as good but management you business reflects how you treat your employees and unfortunately hotel show need improvement with costumer service and transportation.

We had an overall very good experience at Hotel Bosque del Mar. When we arrived, we decided we really wanted an oceanfront room, and since we were visiting during low season, the staff was very accommodating and helped us upgrade later that day. The upgraded room was beautiful, clean, and directly facing the ocean, with a lovely outdoor bathtub that made it feel extra special. The property itself is very peaceful, and the beach was definitely our favorite part. The sunsets here are absolutely gorgeous—we even had one evening where we could see a beautiful sunset and a rainbow at the same time. The beach was great for walking, and there were chairs available outside for hotel guests to relax and enjoy the view. We also enjoyed the second-floor area with the pool table, where we spent some time playing, having drinks, and relaxing. The drinks were delicious and reasonably priced, and we also enjoyed an appetizer from the bar. The staff throughout our stay was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing stay, and we would recommend Hotel Bosque del Mar, especially if you are looking for a beachfront property where you can enjoy some truly beautiful Costa Rican sunsets.

The restaurant and view from the table was amazing, especially at sunset. The room was great, however we were not able to get the Android TV to work at all, it seemed out of date with too old software. The pool was a bit smaller then we expected.

Everything was just perfect. The location, friendliness of the staff and locals, clean & beautiful rooms, food at the restaurant is great as well as proximity to other dining options just a short walk down the beach as well as a a couple of convenience stores to get things you may need or forgot to pack. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful hotel with lots of wildlife but still remains very clean. Staff was wonderful- super friendly and attentive. Room was nice and housekeepers were amazing. We loved the pool but it’s on the smaller side and we would have liked if there were more flat pool lounge chairs. Food was good overall but pretty pricey. Massages were great! We would definitely come back

This was such a great place, the views and staff were amazing! It was awesome staying right off the beach. The beach was beautiful and not overcrowded. We could walk down the beach to different restaurants. We caught a sail boat ride that picked us up from the beach. The hotel staff coordinated it all. Would definitely go back to this hotel!!

We stayed in the Nyuri Suite for 4 nights. The suite is huge, clean and well air conditioned. We brought our teenager and had his own room queen bed and bathroom within the suite. We had a king bed and a huge bathroom. The suite had 2 large decks that overlooked the beach and many beautiful large trees. The food at the hotel was fantastic! We enjoyed many meals there, including several on the beach. There is food and drink service on the beach from the hotel. The pool at the hotel was very pretty and clean and more refreshing than the ocean. The best part of this wonderful hotel was its staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, friendly and helpful. After staying here for several days we had felt we had made new friends with the staff. Such nice people!

This hotel was very unique and we are so glad that we opted for the oceanfront room. It was quiet (aside from the kids at the pool) and we saw monkeys, birds and iguanas right on the property. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a fantastic beach side location and is very well designed. When we booked, everything looked so serene and our experience of the hotel, facilities and service was excellent. The only thing to be really aware of is many of the rooms overlook the small pool and during our stay, this was used by very noisy children from 7.30am to 9.30pm so it wasn't really possible to relax in the room without interruption from screaming children. We're from a generation where we were taught to play quietly but these days, parental control is completely lacking and spoiled our enjoyment of the hotel. Next time, we'll specifically choose and adults only place and we did ask the hotel to perhaps impose noise rules on the pool early morning and late evenings. Cannot fault the hotel at all so 5 stars all round.

We love our stay at Bosque del Mar. Very quiet place, right on the beach. Our room was large, easily accommodating a family of four. Staff was very helpful.
