"We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food. "I had such a lovely stay at this cute little studio in Puerto Carrillo. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The real highlight was the shared pool—perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach or just lounging with a book. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, and it was just a short drive to Playa Carrillo, which is absolutely stunning. If you're looking for a quiet, charming spot to unwind, this is it!"

"This is our second stay and although we love the beauty of the location the hospitality wasn’t quite as accommodating as our first trip. We were there for a 60th bday and engagement and wasn’t a lot of notice to that. It was a bit more crowded than our first trip and think we’ll come back in July again for smaller crowds. Food is always good and can’t beat the sunset views from the infinity pool."

"This hotel is peaceful and perfect for a couples vacation. The housekeeping wasn’t really cleaning for example our sheets became dirty instead of them changing the sheets they made the bed up with the exact sheet on opposite side, they left the garbage and the cups of alcohol that were left on the mini fridge. Other than that the property is amazing food is amazing bartenders will have those drinks coming. It wasn’t to crowded as it is a small all inclusive resort. I will definitely be staying there again."

"I almost do not want to write this review because the TM is such a hidden gem that I don't want it to get over booked. However, the place is so amazing it would be wrong of me to not rave about this property. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. From the moment I arrived at the property and was greeted by Maria Fernanda the experience became special. The staff at the TM are aiming for your enjoyment and happiness. They know how to make you feel special. As the Author of Winning the Customer, my business is about building relationships and high touch customer service and TM definitely overdelivers. From the Concierge team of Andres, Alexandra and Maria Fernanda to the Wait Staff and Bartenders including; Alex, Daniel, Stephanie, Jose, Ronny, Edwardo, Joshuan, Gary and Warner. All went out of their way to perfect my stay. I can't forget Ian who got me back and forth from Beach Break, their other property close to the beach. And the views... Spectacular! You will be in awe of the scenery and having breakfast with the butterflies and humming birds. Finally, I would be remiss not to mention Chef. My son and I enjoyed an incredible tasting menu, prepared by Chef Paulo Valerios that was "off the charts" delicious. Amazing flavors, ingredients and stories by Chef himself. I have been to many Michelin Star restaurants, and Chef & Huacas should be in the Michelin family. If you like adventure, scenery and being pampered, Tierra Magnifica is true to it's name, Magnificent!"
