Hotel Riu Guanacaste - All Inclusive

"Beautiful views"
Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort, Costa Rica, by Hyatt
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel will ruin all other hotels for you. The staff was incredible, the grounds were immaculate, the room was amazing, the wildlife and beach on property were unreal. Seriously, if you stay here, there’s no going back to mediocre hotels. You’ve been warned. We’re 100% going back. My wife literally cried when we were leaving."

Planet Hollywood Costa Rica by Royalton, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort
8/10 Good
"The staff and workers were nice and polite at all time. There was no hot water which it difficult to get ready to travel home. I called twice, told the front desk while checking out. Nothing was done or offered for the inconvenience. The food was delicious especially at the speciality restaurants."
Villa Mila Penthouse -concierge+ Peninsula Papagayo!
10/10 Excellent
"We spent last week at Villa Mila or Terrazas #11. If you have a larger family (read: 3 kids) or are two smaller families who want to share a place, this is a great option. The property has a great, modern feel to it that is comparable to any of the upscale resorts that you could stay at on the peninsula. I had originally planned to stay at the Four Seasons, but did not want to spring for two adjoining rooms or a villa. We bought a day pass for the Four Seasons while we were there, and I could not be more happy that I decided to stay at Villa Mila instead. The house is fairly centrally located. Andaz is about a 12-minute drive, but Papagayo Park, Nacascolo Beach, Prieta Beach Club, Nekajui (the Ritz), and the Four Seasons are all basically 5-7min away or less via golf cart. I do HIGHLY recommend renting a golf cart from the owners. This was a great advantage over staying at a resort; we had a lot of mobility and independence due to having our own golf cart. I also HIGHLY recommend going to Prieta Beach Club. I think combining the Prieta Beach Club with Villa Milla basically gives you a higher-end experience than you would get at one of the resorts. Beautiful beach, pools, and restaurants with great food at the club, but you can still go back to your spacious home with a view of the bay. The complex has two pools (we only used one) and has a stunning view. The concierge service was also great and was readily available during business hours to answer questions"
Nekajui Peninsula Papagayo, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Nekajui, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, was truly exceptional. The resort is spectacular, with breathtaking views, beautifully designed facilities and an incredible sense of privacy and tranquillity. The facilities are outstanding. The **gym is amazing**, while the **spa and hydrotherapy pools are truly sensational** — perfect for relaxing and recharging. What really sets Nekajui apart, however, is its people. The staff were passionate, professional, warm and exceptionally courteous. Pablo, Samuel and the wider team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. Their attention to detail and pride in what they do made our stay particularly memorable. The restaurants were very good, with food consistently prepared to a high standard. As a new resort on the peninsula, there is still some opportunity to further develop the dining offering, and many residents understandably choose to explore some of the more established eateries nearby. That said, when dining at the resort, the quality of the food is excellent, and with a little further refinement, the restaurants have the potential to be truly exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are immensely grateful to the entire Nekajui team for their incredible hospitality. The combination of the setting, facilities and, most importantly, the people makes Nekajui a very special place. We would happily return and highly recommend Nekajui."
El Mangroove Papagayo, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"El Mangoove was wonderful....beautiful property, lovely room, great restaurants. The staff were really superb. I would most definitely stay there again and have already recommended it to others."
