"Very nice. Only drawback is that they don't do breakfast (there is a good kitchen with everything you need if you have supplies). There is a coffee machine and there's a bakery just up the street that was open even on Sunday morning, so it isn't a disaster if you don't come equipped."

"Wonderful stay and very clean! Very Fun to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Cochem. Only caution is there are lots of cigarrette smokers in Cochem city so the smoke comes through open windows. "

"We enjoyed our fifteen nights in Enkirch at this property very much. This four story house (plus cellar) is very spacious, giving the four of us the ability to be together or separate as we wished. "Wir waren im ersten Stock welche durch eine Gittertür abgetrennt ist. Dort hatten wir 2 Schlafzimmer, 1 Bad, 1 Küche sowie 1 Wohnzimmer. Alles etwas im rustikalen Stil eingerichtet aber ok. Die Gastgeberin Frau Mayer ist eine nette Lady die alles im Griff hat. Urschmitt hat kein Lokal aber in 5-7 km Entfernung findet man alles."

The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. "The house is large with well-stocked kitchen and many areas for relaxing, eating and sleeping. We did not know we had to reserve the bedding ahead of time, so had no bedding the first night. This may have partly be due to lack of clear communication as the owner's English was not strong. The house also was not as clean as we would have liked and some elements were not working properly, such as one shower. The washing machine was not available (as it is shared) when we wanted to use it."

"The owner was very good at communicating, although I only gave a 3 for accuracy of the listing because it stated there was a washing machine but one was not available. We were on a 3 week vacation so we were hoping to do some washing. However the kitchen was very well set up with an abundance of coffee and tea. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. I would recommend this property."
