"Absolutely loved staying here. Ari is the perfect host: responsive and reachable over text, accommodated VERY flexible check in and check out, and included allll of the essentials (and incense sticks!!) during our stays.The home itself is marvelous, literally. Never seen anything like it and being in that space was exactly what we needed after feeling some burnout in the city. We saw deer on or around the property every day. My dog has never done this before, but she literally sat by the door and refused to leave when we were packing up. I go upstate regularly, and this was by far my favorite stay."

"Just spent a weekend at this property with my daughter. It was as advertised and everything was clean and the house itself was well provisioned with all the things you need at a house with a lot of things you sometimes forget. If you are looking for a remote getaway, with heavy forest and the serenity that comes with it, this is it.I would add the following however:1. The waterfall is right behind the property, but requires some getting up and down a steep area for about 20 yards. This would have to be managed if you are bringing children or someone who isn't sure footed.2. No AC as mentioned in another review, however it did cool down at night and there are fans and we weren't uncomfortable, but it does bear mentioning for those who are always hot.3. There is no TV in the main living room, there is a projector downstairs, which is cool, but again, bears mentioning. As per above, if you are a person who overheats, the lower floor is definitely cooler than upstairs, and has beds down there as well.Once again, the idea here is to get away from it all and this property offers that. There is also easy access to a lot of great trails, and other waterfalls if that is your thing. The grounds and home are very clean and the property managers came as soon as we got there by chance, and they are lovely people too.Hope this helps. Thanks!"

"We had an amazing stay at Echo Hill. It’s a wonderful place to work, play, and relax. I wrote a paper for grad school at a table in a screen enclosed porch while family played and frolicked. My friend spent an hour watching the meadow and recording tons of wild life in her notebook. We had family dinners, night swims, movie cuddle puddles, s’more-filled fire pits, and a riveting foosball tournament. I wish we could have spent twice as much time there."

"Lovely place with excellent outdoor space. The bedrooms don’t all connect rationally to the bathrooms, but it was very workable. The pool floats were fun. The kitchen was very well provided- huge and well organized spice collection, the envy of any homeowner!"
