  • Villa Lucy is a beautiful villa with a pool near Platanias, Crete. It is located just 2 km from the sea, in a scenic spot with panoramic views of the sea and mountains. It is modern, well furnished, and offers all amenities.
    It can accommodate up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms. For relaxing outside, the villa offers a beautiful pool and round whirlpool tub; terraces; and a gazebo.
    At the disposal of Villa Lucy guests: private pool (depth: 1.80 metres); round whirlpool tub; gazebo; barbecue; 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms; air conditioning; Wifi internet; private parking; workout room; ping pong.

    Ground floor: living room with fireplace and dining area; kitchen (oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, espresso coffee maker) with access to a furnished terrace with table and chairs; bedroom with bunk beds, a small sink and shower; 1 WC.
    Lower floor: 1 double bedroom; 1 bathroom with shower and bathtub; 2 double bedrooms, each with private bathroom with shower; laundry room (washing machine and dryer); room with exercise bike and resistance machine.

The owner of the Villa Michael and his wife were very welcoming and supportive. The Villa is well equipped. We were a family of 8 and it is perfect. Enough privacy and the rooms are lovely. The decorations are beautiful the garden is amazing. The Villa is on top of the hill surrounded by nature and with a view to the distant sea. Nice pool to hang around. We could say that it is better than the pictures

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa, which is perfectly located for exploring western Crete. Nestled among olive groves, it offers a real sense of privacy and tranquillity while being just a two-minute drive from the lively restaurants, shops, and atmosphere of Platanias. The villa is exceptionally well equipped and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy. The garden is a particular highlight, filled with a variety of fruit trees and herbs that guests can enjoy during their stay. The pool and patio area are perfect for lounging, dining, and taking in the stunning panoramic views and spectacular sunsets, ideally with a glass of local rosé in hand. What truly sets this property apart is its combination of seclusion and convenience. Turn left out of the driveway and the magnificent White Mountains are just 15-20 minutes away. Turn right and you'll find some of Crete's beautiful beaches, with the nearest only five minutes away and many of the island's best beaches within easy reach. The villa is much bigger than the photos show and there is plenty of space for a large family. The grounds are large and beautifully presented. The villa itself has lots of little areas and things to enjoy, such as a hammock, table tennis, pool, dual balconies/patios to eat on and areas to seat and relax around the grounds. The villa also benefits from a range of modern amenities, and the owner is both responsive and helpful, providing excellent support whenever questions arose. Overall, this is an outstanding villa in a fantastic location, offering the perfect balance of relaxation, privacy, and easy access to everything western Crete has to offer. We would highly recommend it and would happily return. Thank you Michael for a lovely stay.

Great experience overall. Five stars. The villa and the property around are stunningly beautiful. Plus and this is a very important plus the owner Michael is a kind, helpful and pleasant person ready to resolve any issue if necessary. Spacious rooms and bedrooms each with views of surrounding mountains and valleys, modern and elegantly decorated with light colors and simple items, beautiful terrace with both a dining table and a coffee table, small and nicely shaped pool, many flowers , plants all around, olive trees few of them with a spot light that are a pleasure to watch at night. All showing a very high standard indeed. Small items to improve: pool towels were not of the same standard as the rest of the villa. Some kitchenware (ex. pans) was not found super clean, in a very beautiful kitchen that indeed is full of useful and modern appliances. Finally one suggestion to Michael: if there were a way to open the gate at the bottom of the steep driveway it would avoid stopping in front of it while climbing up by car, and secondly an automatic gate closing when leaving the property would also avoid stopping each time you exit. Final comment: such a beautiful experience that we already miss it.
