「The resort is beautiful and elegant we stayed in a "tree house" in a landscaped "jungle-garden" inspired setting. I was so pleased with our little private piece of paradise. The AC was excellent, great wi-fi, plenty of outlets and the bathroom was spacious with built-ins. Staff was super friendly and the front of the house took exceptional care of us. Mariposa is quite close to the village as resorts go. It was a great blend of luxury and proximity.」

「We loved our stay at umaya. The beach is awesome. The whole pool area/chairs/dock and set up are awesome too. So great that you can also borrow Kayaks and paddle boards (which we did) to have morning paddles when the ocean is calmer. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is beautiful, the staff helpful and accommodating and the food at the hotel was good as well. There are also many restaurants and a supermarket (10 min drive) close to umaya without having to always make the drive...
