"The condition of the room and property did not meet expectations. Multiple maintenance and housekeeping issues affected comfort. During my stay the room showed signs of wear and several fixtures were unreliable. Common areas were neglected and poorly maintained. The breakfast was okay with basic choices."

"As I was checking out, I questioned the pending charges on my account and I was assured by the lady at the desk that both were just holds for incidentals and would drop off as I had already paid using hotels.com. The charges ended up being processed. I have made several phone calls and cannot reach a human who is able to address the issue. Customer service is atrocious. I have been transferred numerous times and everyone tells me that they cannot help me and they will transfer me to someone else. After each transfer, the result is the same. At this point, I’m hoping I can just dispute the charge with my credit card."

"I loved my stay here. It was only one night, but I will absolutely stay there again if I’m in the area. The room was basic, but cute and incredibly clean. I honestly think this was the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom as well, and there is almost always something icky in any hotel bathroom. The bed? Oh my gosh - SO comfortable. Part of what made it that way (besides the perfect mattress) was the soft, printed cotton sheets that felt like your favorite worn sheets at home - and not like stiff freshly-bleached hotel sheets. The blanket was a fuzzy one like what you would pick up yourself at a Walmart and not the incredibly thin scratchy ones at most hotels. There was a fridge, coffee maker, nice size tv, desk, table and arm chair. Also a bench/divider where you would sit. As I said, a basic room, but everything you could need. I slept better at this hotel than I’ve ever slept in a hotel. I know this seems like a crazy, over-the-top and maybe fake review because of that, but it isn’t. I was just so incredibly impressed by a little motel kind of not near anything super big and need to give them their due. Just a perfect overnight experience."

"residence by mariott at pittsburgh is a very old property. affordable option cheap compared to other stays but very badly maintained rooms the bathroom door was broken i could not lock we shifted to a new room because the toilet was unclean. one good thing is the complimentary breakfast"
