"I absolutely loved our stay at Trailside. The home is well kept. Stocked and very clean. The area is beautiful with easy access to all the trail systems. In town restaurants were pretty good too. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here for our annual ATV trip to Pittsburg. The house was very spacious and the kids enjoyed hanging out in the basement while the adults spent the evenings chatting on the large, well-lit porch. The house was fully equipped and had everything we needed. Being able to bring the dog with us made the trip easier, and I really appreciated all the motion lights around the house at night so I could see clearly when walking her. Jackie was very communicative and helpful throughout the booking. We would definitely stay here again. The sunrises across the lake were beautiful. There was plenty of parking for our 2 trucks and trailers and 4 ATVs. We even had good interactions with the neighbors. "

"Great location, right on Lake Francis. Lots of loon activity around dusk was a plus. Access to the Connecticut lakes was very good, the furthest away being only 30min. Not to mention the drive being along “moose alley”. We were lucky enough to spot one despite only staying for two nights. Property was in good shape, no complaints. Easy check in with personalized lock code. We didn’t end up needing anything but property manager was in contact and very responsive. Would stay again!"

"We booked the cabin last minute for a 4th of July getaway. I was surprised that such a nice place was available last minute! The owners have done a great job with the renovation and it’s clear they take pride in this space. It is so clean! Plenty of bathroom towels and the kitchen had everything we could’ve possibly needed. We used the flat top grill every day! The beds were also super comfortable. John was really easy to communicate with and sent us a bunch of great information for the area. We rented UTVs from Bear Rock Adventure and they were also awesome!As mentioned in other reviews, the bathroom is a bit of a tight squeeze, in particular the shower, but not a huge deal for us. Would definitely stay here again! "
