"This was the cutest place. Beautifully done and spotless. Great view over the water in a tiny village. Quiet and comfortable. The only drawback to Raleigh Rooms is there are absolutely no places to eat nearby. You have to travel at least 30 minutes to get to restaurants or St Anthony. As long as you plan ahead for this, you will enjoy your stay."

"At first glance, it may not look like much. It is an old school that closed in 2012. It comes complete with the school library and the trophies and academic achievement awards. However, the room, a firmer classroom, was huge, clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. It is a great jump off point for L’Anse aux Meadow. The view is lovely. There is an excellent restaurant, The Daily Carch, just a minute or two up the road."

"Wonderful house on the harbour. Fully equipped house. Host was full of information for the area and gave us moose burgers to cook for a supper. Amazing. Great store next to the property with everything you could need. Great location to explore the area. Two nights was not enough time to see and do everything. Would fo back again."

"We were surprised at the rooming house set up at first. Luckily others were not too loud and were friendly - most people were long-stay residents. Claude and Phyllis (who cane each evening) were so welcoming and explained several things we needed to know! Location was very good for us, and we were away daily for the opportunities in the area!"
