"Very comfortable bed and kind staff. Lovely property. "

"Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The modern room was spacious, comfortable and clean. (Its small refrigerator did not have a freeze compartment, which would have been helpful for thermal packs.) On occasion, there was some sort of sharp noise (not terribly loud), which sounded like equipment or facilities. ? Have no idea what, but was curious and a bit of a nuisance. The lounge/gift shop area was attractive. Coffee options near there were great, though I feel regular coffee should be included for guests as part of room cost. I didn’t take advantage of the outdoor fire pit or the pool/hot tub but they all appeared great. The list of recommended restaurants given to me at check in included one that was permanently closed, which I found out when I drove over to it for dinner. Also, the box of tissues in the bathroom only had one left so I had to wait a bit at the front desk while a fresh box was retrieved. Overall, very good. The second time I have stayed there to visit Joshua Tree and would likely stay again."

"The bathroom is so outdated ! The sink counter is the height a child would use, not a full grown adult! Same with the toilet height - way to low for the year 2000 and beyond! "

"The house was exactly as pictured and it’s obvious the owners put a lot of thoughtfulness into the decor. My friend and I really loved staying here! The property and surrounding area is quiet which made for a very peaceful stay. The hot tub was clean and well cared for. As an FYI for anyone unfamiliar with Pioneertown, you lose cell service on your way in, so it’s good to have your gps plugged in long before you arrive into town. My Apple Maps took me right to the house. The house has WiFi and it worked beautifully. From the house It’s a short walk to the Red Dog Saloon, a little longer Pappy and Harriet’s but totally do-able. We look forward to coming back. It was clean, cozy and very relaxing. Thanks for hosting us!! "

"We never got an email telling us how to get to the property or what the lock code was. I tried several times to text the host on our way and he never got back to me. We ended up finding the property on our own which took awhile and the neighbor was nice enough to call the property manager who gave us the code. Major hassle! Other than that everything was fine."

"Beautiful home! The amenities were right on, the multiple spaces for relaxing or entertaining were fantastic. This is a very well thought out property. Excellent for stargazing. Unfortunately the jacuzzi would not heat beyond 76 so we were unable to enjoy as we had planned. It was a big must on the list when looking for a vacation rental, this was the only disappointment. The location to Pioneertown is ideal and we enjoyed our stay!"
