"We loved the adult pool, but it could use additional umbrellas and umbrellas that adjust. Also there was service, but it was quite slow due to lack of staffing. The beach is okay and steep with a drop off in some areas. It's also short and the free umbrellas are small and don't provide much shade. We appreciated the coolers with electrolyte water at the entrance to the beach, but we did not spend any time on it other than to walk due to the heat, and these biting flies. The rooms are upgraded and nice, but our building had humidifiers running 24-7 and they were outside our room, and loud. The air in the room was wonderful though. Our room was attached to a LOUD family with a kid that had the loudest voice I've ever heard. Perhaps, keep adults on separate floors from children if possible. We like children, but that was nuts. The building inside is updated, outside is falling apart. Broken screen door on our room. Cobwebs and faded wood. The people providing service were lovely, but it was obvious they were overworked. One girl on an entire floor of rooms is not enough for good cleaning. They restocked and straightened up, but they weren't cleaning our bathroom daily. We did enjoy the restaurant. Very good food. The lunch bar by the pool was okay and the drinks weren't very good. My drink tasted like pure alcohol and I wasted it. Perhaps an actual mixologist if you charge these kinds of prices. Not 5 star."

"What a wonderful spot for a family vacation. The location is excellent - right next to beach access (90 seconds to the sand if you're quick), Nearby coffee, food and other needs while being in a quiet area.The home was exceptionally well stocked and had everything needed. The home was clean and organized when we arrived.The pool area with golf putting, beach volleyball, hot tub, hammock and Tiki bar were laid out perfectly and both the adults always had something to do. Really nice setup. Great communication and support from the owners."

"Beautiful home. It was immaculate when we checked in.The pool was super nice. The pool table was a plus! More than enough room for everyone. Any issue that we had was handled promptly and professionally. I HIGHLY recommend Shoreline OBX vacation rentals they are a dream to deal with!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been to OBX with a multifamily group at least 5 times, and this was our best home yet! It was clean, new, spacious, and had all the expected amenities. Sonos was a nice touch."

"I have traveled to Outer Banks since 1984, well aware of the environment and weather. The house was hit by lightening Sunday on our rental from Saturday to Saturday. Never had tv or internet the whole time until Friday evening. It was the service I received and the attentiveness from the office that made the experience worse than what it was. Hate to say that used many rental companies throughout the years and not ever had this kind of service. House great location great service not good at all! Hopefully this never happens again, this is my heaven on earth!!"
