"This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and both times we had a wonderful experience. The sausage biscuits for breakfast were amazing. The only negative is the coffee is not the best I’ve ever drank but not the worst either. Overall fantastic hotel and the location is exceptional. We will be back."

"The view of the mountains from the balcony of Carrie's cabin was outstanding! The best of all the cabins we have stayed in. The cabin was very nice and about 15 minutes from Bryson City, nearly on the mountain top. Ten minutes on the highway and 5 minutes up the mountain. The road was a single lane blacktop with limited pulloffs to pass oncoming vehicles. There were no guardrails which is common and the dropoffs were significant, also common. Fortunately we only encountered 1 vehicle in our 4 days there. The cabin had one bedroom and bath upstairs and another downstairs. The kitchen was nicely equipped. There were several tvs with Firesticks and a bluetooth sound bar. Very nice. The nights were getting cool so the large gas fireplace was very nice. It was one of the nicer cabins we stayed in. Was a bit dusty with a few cob webs but no bugs. Otherwise clean. The living room couch and love seat both needs to be replaced. The arm on the couch was in bad shape and both were well used and in need of some significant cleaning. Other than that was a very nice place to visit. The balcony was large and well equipped with seating and tables. I would recommend it. "

"This cabin was a dream. We took my elderly parents for a well deserved vacation celebrating their 66th wedding anniversary. The views were so beautiful, no annoying neighbors. We took my dog and she was relaxed and happy. The owners and repersentative were extremely helpful and kind. I cannot wait to go again. I might not leave next time."

"We had a nice family vacation. The address doesn't work in G00gle Maps quite right but we have stayed close by before so it wasn't an issue. Be careful turning onto the last street. The turn off of Needmore Road is on a blind hill. You can do a Street View level when you get your address. It's paved the whole way except for the last 100ft and isn't a problem.The scenery is great. You can hear the nearby road but we live near an airport so it didn't bother us. We saw some turkeys at the cabin and saw evidence of raccoons. The bears just seem to avoid us every year.The beds were comfy for us, the kitchen had everything we needed, the grill was fine and the multicade kept our grandson busy. They used the hot tub a couple times with no complaints. It was pretty hot when we were there so the fireplace and backyard firepit were never used. The place is set up nice for pets if you bring them with the enclosed porch.The only downside we had is that the bathroom sinks don't have sink stoppers and our grandson lost his toothbrush down the drain in the small bathroom. I did a quick recovery by taking apart the p-trap and the hair clog I removed resembled a small, wet squirrel. The other two sinks could probably use a quick cleanout too if they were the same.We had a great stay and would definitely stay again for a family vacation. "Great little private creek side cabin! Easy check in and check out. Loved the beautiful trees, hot tub and the covered back porch! Train was a fun surprise. Very relaxing stay and planning to return. "
