"The Lodge is lovely, all the ground floor is brand new, showers are great. There were 10 if us and all fitted in perfectly. There are some steep stairs on 2 of the rooms but great for teens. You can walk straight out into the woods from the garden.It was super clean and communication with the owners were very responsive. We would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again. "We stayed in Helena, it was very clean and well equipped. Concern about escape routes in the event of a fire. Some rooms didn’t have a large enough window to get out of. Swimming pool great, as was the hot tub. Lovely setting near Blandford. Would recommend getting shopping delivered as quite remote. "

"A uniquely designed property within 4 minutes walk to Alum Chine beach, great location and amazing views from the balacony! The hosts were great with communication and got back to us quickly. A couple of bits on the page aren't correct. There is no on-site parking (as stated on the page) and when I queried was told there is plenty of street parking, but during our stay (late August) we found it difficult to get parking in the street and with our disabled child this was quiet inconvenience....

"My friend and I went from Monday -Friday. On arriving the staff were lovely however got to the room and it was dark. My friend and I said if they had arranged the bedroom differently it wouldn’t have felt so dark. The heater in the bathroom was so dangerous. Also the whole hotel needed some TLC. But the staff made up for the rest of it every member of staff was lovely. "
