"Hostel itself was really nice, cute decor with great kitchen and laundry amenities. Quick walk to the beach and bus station. However, the area around the hostel was not the nicest and it was a long walk to the historic centre to find nice places to hang out. There was also a problem with cockroaches in the room that made it very difficult to get a good nights sleep. Steer clear of the ground floor rooms!"
"Beautiful hotel with a mix of historic charm and modern luxury. Staff were welcoming, breakfast was excellent, and the rooftop bar had stunning views. A little outside the old town but taxis are affordable and easy. Perfect for a relaxing, stylish stay. "
"We really enjoyed our stay at Kumara. It was a great place for family; it has a shallow pool for small children as well as a small play area. The layout allowed us to stay outside our room whilst being able to watch our little one in these areas. The hotel was extremely clean.
Only negative we have is food could be better for small picky eaters, by no means healthy but suggestions would include eg pizza, chicken nuggets; (there was more variety for adults)."
