Summary:

Welcome to Knockin' on Heaven's Door – a cozy retreat for a small family or romantic getaway in the heart of the Smokies. This Pigeon Forge cabin rental is comfortable, relaxing, and romantic. With room to sleep two guests, the cabin can accommodate you for your honeymoon or a romantic getaway. Fast Wifi for streaming and working remotely!



The Space:

Knockin' on Heaven's Door is all one floor with one King bed. In the bedroom you can kick back and relax in the large jacuzzi tub. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything need to cook meals. From the deck, enjoy the peaceful and wooded views. The deck has a small table with rocking chairs for two. At the end of a long day exploring the town & attractions, unwind with a soak in the hot tub.



Community pool open from Memorial day until Labor day, only 13 minutes drive (8.5 miles) away. Catch & release fishing pond open year-round. Free for our guests!



Guest Access:

You will have the entire cabin to yourself.



The Neighborhood:

The cabin has easy, paved roads and flat parking, enough for 2 vehicles. The cabin is only 5 minutes from Pigeon Forge, 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, and 20 from the Smoky Mountain National Park.



Located 3 mins from light #3 in Pigeon Forge: off of Wears Valley Rd, by Alpine Coaster.



Community pool open from Memorial day until Labor day, only 13 minutes drive (8.5 miles) away. Catch & release fishing pond open year-round. Free for our guests!



Getting Around:

Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors.



Other Things to Note:

The Fireplace is propane and is on October 1st - March 31st.



We also have the twin 1BR/1BA cabin next door, Almost Paradise, if you want to travel with other guests but still want your privacy!



Interaction with Guests:

We are not always in the area but are available via app messenger.

We had a wonderful stay in Pigeon Forge! The location was perfect — close to all the attractions, shopping, and restaurants, yet peaceful and relaxing when we wanted to unwind. The accommodations were spotless, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly and responsive, making sure our visit was smooth from start to finish. We truly enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to come back!

Very nice cabin, good location. Close to town but still secluded. Roads were not bad to get to compared to some cabins we've been in. Directions and GPS worked with no issues. Really nice for a couple to get away and unwind. Pavan reached out early and thru-out the stay to ensure we had what we needed. Appreciate the responsiveness.

Killed a roach inside the property, called vrbo and notified property owner. Vrbo went over a check list of things with me to check for. Before we got off the phone the vrbo customer service guy told me to take pictures and call back if my husband or I see anymore roaches or insects of any kind. I opened the back door to check out the hot tub and found a dead squished roach as soon as stepped out, several roaches crawled around where the water hose was, one flew out from the light fixture beside the door, and a very large roach was dying beside the hot tub ( looked like it had recently been sprayed maybe, I'm not sure) it was on its back with its legs moving up in thr air. After screaming for a bit, I choked down my urge to vomit, cried and took pictures. I called vrbo back and told them what we had found, sent pictures and informed the hosts that their back porch was infested with roaches! Vrbo handled the situation well, cancled our reservation and gave us our money back. We were very surprised about the roach situation because the cabin SEEMED very clean at first. I always check for dust and dirt and didn't find any inside the cabin.
