"We had a fabulous stay! The owner Emmanuela is friendly, gracious and super helpful. She has also great restaurant recommendations. We felt like we were staying in an art gallery. Everything was tastefully designed mixing modern art with the beautiful old world building. Location is perfect for exploring the area. Parking is bit of an issue. Campobasso is a busy city, so you will need to find paid street parking. Otherwise I do highly recommend this place for the location and charm."

"The Grand Hotel was an excellent place to stay.The staff was very helpful and friendly, it was very easy to walk to most places but the location is good for driving as well. The room was very clean and the atmosphere is amazing. It's our favorite place to stay in Campobasso!"

"I had the privilege of staying at La Tavernetta for 11 days this past July. It's an exceptionally well run family business where each family member contributes to the overall satisfaction of the guests. We were well received by all family members particularly Davide and Antonietta. The Hotel also has a restaurant and pool. The room was very clean and air conditioned. The pool area is very very nice. Davide is everywhere making sure that guests receive the best possible service. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The breakfast was also very good. Antonietta is always present. The grounds are very well maintained. I will definitely return as we enjoyed our stay very much. My son loved it. It felt like we were visiting family. A big shout out to the Marinelli family. "The location of the apartment was excellent- walking distance to the city center where shopping and restaurants are. The downside was the host did not speak English. There was a suggested interpreter, but she was not available when we checked in. The instructions to GET the keys was accurate BUT nothing in the instructions given after we had the keys, that the apartment was actually on the second floor, that we had to take the stairs. ( the building had three levels NO elevator) Fortunately some resident family was in the lobby and helped us locate the rental apartment. The other problem was we couldn’t get the washing machine to work, We were not able to get a response from the host or the interpreter. We had been traveling for the previous week and badly needed to have our clothes cleaned. There were five family members in all.We had to handwash what we could in the sink and hang them to dry. If there was better communication, there would not have been any problems."

"Very cool renovation of the rooms and suites in a very old building in the city of Campobasso. Conveniently located in the town. However, be prepared to walk the stairs to your room. We stayed on the top floor, which was 115 stairs up."

"The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The wifi was very good. We had two devices which streamed at the same time with no problem. The food in the restaurant was delicious and filling. You will be asked a time for eating breakfast, I recommend being on time as the meal is prepared to be ready for eating at the time you specify. Lunch was always prepared to order and delicious. I hardly recommend the red wine with your meal. This is a quite place in a natural setting. Great for walks, relaxing and decompressing. "
