Normal hotel stay, mattress was comfortable pillows were comfortable, and the sheets and blankets and pillowcases were really soft, which was nice. My only negative was the ice machine in the freezer was dirty.

This is an extended stay. Everyonr we had contact with was friendly. helpful and the place was clean. If i had to stay any where for a long time this is where i would choose.

This is not the hotel's fault but there was dredging and/or construction noise going on less than a half mile away, first thing in the morning. Comfortable room though. It would have been nice to have a normal ice machine (near the lobby) instead of being expected to make my own ice in the full size fridge. Cheers!

I didn’t understand the breakfast order, at least they had coffee. I thought you could either have room service, or go to the breakfast room, was not the case. I really didn’t like the pillows.

Happened to be there while a conference was on and availability’s was low. 330 a night in Pierre is somewhat ridiculous and not right. Place was an ordinary hotel, clean and spacious, but totally not worth the price.

You expect me to buy dishes???

This was my first stay at a “My Place”. I was stunned to discover that guests were expected to purchase cookware, dishes, and utensils. Much more expensive than a Candlewood Suites with fewer actual suite features and amenities.

Family visit to Ft Pierre/Pierre SD.

The parking lot, the entrance way, and the room was very clean. Josie and Brandy were very friendly. We have an issue with the TV not working and after another room with the same issue, Josie was able to get us into a room that that had a working TV. Josie was very apologetic, but we travel a lot and things like this happen.

$80 room for over double that.

The accommodations themselves were just very modest. Not outside of my expectations so there's really not a discount in my rating for the accommodations. The check-in process was unusually slow. Part of the problem is the front desk worker was outside.... possibly on break while two of us were in line to check in and no one at the front desk to take care of us. But largely the biggest complaint was that this is a very modest room at just under $200 with taxes. I travel about 80 nights a year and I would never expect to pay this much for this level of accommodations anywhere else other than Pierre/Ft Pierre. The lodging choices here are few, and they are all overpriced. As a seasoned business traveler giving travel advice, I would suggest you stay in Mitchell, Rapid City, or Aberdeen rather than Pierre if possible.

Booked room for a funeral. When I checked in staff agreed to give be a lower bereavement rate. When I checked out staff said everything was fine. When I received by credit card statement. I saw that My Place had unilaterally added a charge to raise the rate. When I called, I was told the staff was not authorized to give me the lower rate. I asked why I was not told that when I check out or called before the charge was added, the employee became irate and said "don't yell at me" and hung up.

Friendly reception generally clean rooms however the toilet was dirty and the toilet seat broken. Room service every 4 days and when they came it appeared they ate some of our food based on open package and criminal on floor.
