Excellent space, view, and location!
Our stay (my wife, myself, and our 3 month old baby) was excellent at Casa Bonari. Upon pulling up, the Tuscan villa sits on a beautiful hill overlooking the countryside with well kept grounds including olive groves and many places to relax outside on the beautiful property. Communication with the host was easy and they even allowed early check-in and late checkout. The apartment is well equipped and very spacious (easily could accommodate many more than just us 3 - we only used one of the three bedrooms). Rosella and her sister Valentina were incredibly helpful with providing a crib for the baby and offering to make reservations at the local Monticchiello restaurants (which are only open certain days in the off-season). The location is walkable to the market and small village of Monticchiello, while being a quick drive to Pienza, and Montepulciano + Montalcino for wine tastings. Highly recommend restaurants Bronzino, Poggiardelli (florentine steak), La Guardiola, and crostinis at the corner after just walking through the gate of Monticchiello (can’t recall the name). Our favorite winery was Le Chiuse in Montalcino. Overall excellent experience and will definitely stay again when visiting Tuscany
