"The location was very close to the entrance of Glacier National Park. Set back and secluded from highway and nice and quiet. The room was clean and updated. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Breakfast was fantastic! Great variety of hot and cold foods to choose from, along with yogurts, fresh fruit, juices and milks. Very clean and well maintained property and room. Highly recommend this property for great access to Glacier and surrounding areas. We will definitely return and recommend to our friends and family if they are looking for a great place to stay in near Glacier!"

"Staff and location was perfect. Due to the rich history of this property be prepared for all the authentic “quirks” (noisy, small room, thin walls, creaky floors under your feet and above your head, & Amtrak across street seemed to run every 20 mins ). While the property makes every accommodation ( noise machine, ear plugs) it takes a bit of getting used to. I cannot give it a low rating as this is how it’s intended just something I didn’t prefer now that I did it. But it’s beautifully quaint with a real fireplace they keep going all night, very clean and friendly team. If you enjoy historic places to stay, you got it in the Belton Chalet!"

The location at the doorstep to the enchanting Glacier National Park is perfect! You will be extremely pleased if you choose this rental. I will definitely stay here again in the future!"

"We had an amazing time at this Vrbo. The cabin was very cozy and it was a great spot on the lake. The neighbors were very friendly as well. Wonderful sunrise, and sunset views. Quiet area, where you really feel like you are in Montana. It was a bit hard to locate, but we were trying to find it at night, so just make sure to look at the pinned location on the app!"

"Decided to go to Glacier very late and looked very hard for a great place to stay and be immersed in the Beauty and greatness of Glacier National Park.Wasn’t sure exactly what the cabin would be like until I actually opened the door.Very quaint with a natural feel of a wilderness.Bedrooms overlooking the lake, natural birch staircase are a few of the very special touches that made me request the opportunity to rent this beautiful personal property."

"Beautiful views even with the low lake level affected by drought. Awesome back patio! Close to (30 min) Many Glacier and St Mary entrances. Comfortable beds. Good shower water pressure and plenty hot water. WiFi worked great for us with AT&T iPhones. TV was great with our logins to Netflix and Prime on bad weather days. Kitchen adequately stocked (could use a couple more frying pan options). Large kitchen table. Many activity options for kids in the house (games, easel for drawing, etc). Easy, prompt communication with owner via text. Cons for some people may be that gate at entrance is tricky to operate and open. Back patio is only about 25 feet from neighbors back deck (not shown in photos), but only saw the neighbor once. Water has a slight sulphur smell even though there appears to be a whole house filter in place. Baseboard heaters are finicky. Apartment sized stackable washer/dryer is small. Large step down to enter master bedroom. Overall, this place was a great option to stay on the east side of Glacier and be close to the most beautiful hikes and views of the Park!"
