"The property is adequate. My primary grievance is the difficulty in corresponding with Ashley Cameron the owner of the property. She did not answer my request for how long it would take to receive back my security deposit (nor was said security deposit mentioned in 2 page contract) and it was only after I contacted VRBO that I got the money back minus the GST. The lack of response was frustrating and time consuming."

"The house was comfortable and very accommodating. We had a birthday dinner and celebration and there was room for all our friends and family. We also loved the yard and our dog enjoyed it . The location is amazing. We all slept very well in the comfy beds, the sky was full of stars at night and it was really quiet! Our second night we watched the lunar eclipse to the south and the Aurora Borealis to the south."

"2 friends in the county for a girls annual cycling weekend and we would come back! Impressed with the upgrades made at IT - our room was spacious, modern and clean. Good water pressure. Equipped with Microwave, Fridge and coffee maker. Staff at main office was very nice. WIFI was great. Heated pool was a bonus. The hallways have an older smell but it didn't seep into the room. Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Only a short ride/drive to Bloomfield & onto Picton. Close to Sandbanks too! The restaurant across the road (Sand & Pearl) was also very good and convenient to get to. Caught the most glorious sunset on the beach on night one! Overall a great stay - thank you!"

"This is a very nice, rustic hotel. It reminded us of the inn in The Bob Newhart show. The food at the Barley Pub and the included breakfasts was very good. The breakfast service was excellent and the pub service was good, but they seemed understaffed. Overall I'd recommend this as a very good place to stay while in Prince Edward County."

"Huge place, less expensive than Cribs on Main. Pleasant 10 minute walk to Picton shops and restaurants through calm residential area. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked well equipped. Parking in back was fine. One traveller goes out to car through patio door, other traveller has to stay inside to lock patio door then go out through the front door and get picked up there. Not a problem, but could be awkward if you need to leave and you are on your own. Host very quick to respond. A great short vacation in a lovely part of Ontario."

"Hosts are very responsive and ensure all details are taken care of. Went above to accommodate our late arrival. We enjoyed the location, the lay out of the cottage, and the views. Looking forward to booking the cottage in the future!! The canoe at the dock was a bonus!! We really enjoyed that!"
