3rd time staying at the bunk house for a annual guys ice fishing trip. As usual the bunk house was clean and ready for our arrival. Great to have all the bar games, bar, and flat top grill. Also convenient to have two bars/restaurants within a 2minute drive. Great place for larger groups.

Perfect stay for family

We were having a family reunion at a nearby lake cottage and the Bunkhouse was the perfect accommodation for our family. The commercial kitchen was super helpful for prepping meals and feeding ourselves. Our grandkids had a blast with the games and jukebox. Our host was great in adding a day to our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Winter Getaway

Stayed here in the winter for our annual ice fishing trip. It is very close to the boat landing for easy access to the lake. Everything is as advertised. It is a great place to stay with tons of fun for everyone!

Brother’s bachelor party

This was an awesome Vrbo, we will definitely be back! Had it for the weekend with the crew of guys, it was the perfect set up for us. Ideal distance to the boat landing and walking distance to bars, plus the amenities and cleanliness of the Vrbo itself was awesome. Stayed here for our annual ice fishing trip, 7 people. 2nd time staying. Great place to stay and have fun. Place is described accurately and is well kept. Nice to have local places close to eat at and have a few drinks. The kitchen flat top is great for large group cooking. Enjoy all the bar games.

Great place for a group!

We had 5 families stay on the property- 4 in the bunkhouse and 1 on the RV pad. It was a house full and we had a great time. The kids loved running outside and playing the games and the jukebox . We did swimming and fishing on Pickerel Lake and did some riding on the utvs. Was a great time and the hosts were very accommodating.

Pickerel Bunk house

Highly recommend staying at this place, we will be coming back! The bunk house was clean, amazing kitchen, and HUGE. It was so cool. Lots of games and a nice working old bar juke box. Easy lake access, next to trail, and enough parking. Jenni was easy to work with and contact.

Fun Place to Stay

Our group of 10 had a great stay at the bunkhouse in Aug 2023. There was plenty of room for everyone. The beds were comfortable. Having pool and darts available was a nice touch. While not right on the water, there is a nice view of the lake from the front porch. The owner was very responsive to questions. Overall it was a good experience and we would stay here again.

Family Vacation

The Bunkhouse was perfect for our Second Annual Family Vacation!! The "Game Room" was Thoroughly Enjoyed by everyone-with the Jukebox being the Main Attraction! The yard was Perfect for playing outside games - letting the littles run and play! The Kitchen and Bar were Great for cooking and eating our meals. Overall The Bunkhouse was Perfect for our family - Lots of Fun and Laughs were had by all.

A wonderful experience

Spacious, very clean and well-equipped. This place had everything we needed, and more. Our grandchildren loved the foosball tables and the classic jukebox. Each of our kids and their families enjoyed their own bedroom. The livjng area had 4 couches for the adults to sit and converse. Highly recommended for large groups.

Hello, it was a great time at your property! We enjoy the stay and location. It was lovely and clean but we did have one issue. Both bathrooms had an odor smell of the sewer that was getting into the whole Vrbo. The smell was making all of us sick, so please make sure this issue is resolved for the next guest!

Fun bunkhouse experience

This was a very fun stay! There was no shortage of things to do inside and outside, which was so great. The industrial kitchen and bar was amazing and worked so well for our big group. This setup was so creative and fun! Jenni, our host, was a great communicator and responded quickly when we needed her or had questions. We were able to also use the RV pad outside, which was so great for our group. The only barrier we ran into as a family group was the unfinished ceilings between rooms and main living space. Be sure to bring fans or a sound machine to help block noise! That helped greatly and we made it work. Overall, a great stay!

3rd stay

3rd time staying at the bunk house for an annual ice fishing trip with 8 people. Great place to stay and have fun. Bar games and the old school juke box is always a hit. Kitchen is well equipped and has a large flat top grill. All amenities were as they are listed on the site. Nice to have two local bars within a mile or two to go for drinks and food too. I mentioned last year about a few repairs that could be made and they followed up on those and they were correct. Only issue we had was no door key sent in advance. It was suppose to be emailed but it did not come through. I contacted the owner and they got us in quickly. Overall a great stay and we will be back.

Wonderful Getaway with lots of amenities!!!

We were pleasantly surprised to easily find the Bunkhouse, get inside and enjoy having what once was a bar our own little private bar for a weekend! Having children onboard kept all of us occupied but not on top of one another. The utensils, pots and pans and the ability to basically use the kitchen as a bar-run kitchen was a great pleasure! We had easy access to the two televisions, pool table, foosball table, jukebox of a wide variety of music, and dart board. The local bar/beach was within walking distance. The neighbors were very quiet and friendly. This would be a great destination for a family, bachelor party or family reunion! The only thing we would have wanted changed was a complete ceiling over each bedroom so that each had privacy. We understood that the heating/cooling was set up so that it could not be done. Many thanks for a wonderful trip!!!
