Don't waste your money

First of all if you want to see Villa Romana del Casale, which is a real gem, I'd not recommend you to stay in Piazza Armerina. If you are driving from any part of Sicily you can spend 2-3 hours in there, but don't even think about driving in these narrow streets in town, unless you born here. Now get back to the hotel rating. There was no real reception area, the office was upstairs. The area just inside the front door had a chair and desk with just some promotional cards from a café on it but was never manned. There was no buffet breakfast. Also, there is nobody in whole place to talk/discuss any issues or ask for something. Upon arrival we met only one person who barely speaks English. Bed is clean but hard as wood, we spent pretty bad night and left it as fast as we could early next morning I'd never ever recommend this place to anyone.

B and B Palace Piazza Armerina

There was no real reception area, the office was upstairs. The area just inside the front door had a chair and desk with just some promotional cards from a café on it but was never manned, this area was also very scruffy and looked as if the building was undergoing renovation, but I get the impression it is always like that. There was no buffet breakfast though that is one of the reasons for booking there. The place had a general air of abandonment.
