気になった点 : スタッフとサービス

滞在中のサービスは問題ありませんでした。むしろ、食事の質、種類は素晴らしく、部屋も清潔でした。最悪だったのは、帰りの空港送迎です。乗っている間、グーグルマップで現在値を確認していましたが、驚くべきことに運転手は勝手に空港以外の目的地に私を連れて行きました。ホテルから空港の最短経路を通るのではなく、大きく西側に逸れ、勝手に、恐らく運転手自身の用事を済ませたのです。（横道にそれ、何やら靴屋に立ち寄ったようです。）私はこれが初めての海外旅行だったので、非常に不安になりました。フーコックの治安がそこまで悪くないことは知っていましたが、全く知らない土地で放り出され、良くてお金を取られ、悪ければ身体に危害を与えられるかもと恐怖しました。

年末年始に4泊しました。31日は料金に含まれるガラディナーがあり、敷地内の宴会場でビュッフェスタイルでした。空港送迎は事前にメールでフライト情報を送っておきました。専用車でプライベート送迎してくれました。ホテル内にカジノがあります。スロットしかしませんでしたが、使用通貨はドンです。カジノ内のキャッシャーで日本円から両替できますが、紙幣のチェックがかなり厳しく、ちょっとしたシワでも文句つけてきます。両替する予定でしたら、新札を持って行った方が良いと思います。チェックイン時、宿泊者の写真とります。朝食ビュッフェに入る際は、顔認証になり、受付で部屋番号を言う必要がなく、画期的だと思いました。

ベトナム最後の秘境。お安く星付きホテルでゆっくりステイ！なんて夢見ていましたが、、、秘境の意味を取り違えていました。（秘境＝ゆっくりできる！と考えてました）秘境とは、ホテルも島自体も発展途上ということ。ゆっくり、行き届いたサービスはほど遠いかなと思います。ホテルは大規模にもかかわらず、レセプションの人数が少ない。スタッフの英語力は全然ダメ（入り口でタクシーが通じないって何なの！？）チェックインは流れ作業。客からモーニングやチェックアウトのバスなど聞かないとダメ。年末繁忙期だからでしょうか？朝のビュッフェで案内された席に座り、水をとりに行ってる間に片付けられて別の客を案内していたのは素直にショックでした。中にあるイタリアンの接客もめちゃめちゃ。飲み物より先ずパスタが出てきて、最後スープw取り分けの小皿を頼んだら人数分来ない。ちゃんと個数を言わなきゃダメ。タバスコは食後にきましたよ。笑。色々発展途上。夜九時半過ぎに空港までのバス案内の電話が来た時は、子連れなのだから配慮して欲しかった。安いだけあり、客層はかなり微妙。暑い中待っていたバスで横入りはダメでしょう！ビュッフェも取り合いでした！笑。もう一生行くことはないでしょうが、よいところは ●子供ばっかりだから子連れ旅行は気楽。 ●設備が新しい。 ●プール、海、ウォーターパークが良い。 ●近くの動物園が凄く良い！遊園地もアクセス最高。 ●ナイトマーケット、空港までのシャトルバスあり。色々残念な点が目立つホテルでしたが、全く期待しないと良いかも知れません。

ウォーターパーク・サファリ楽しめた

大型ホテルなので、朝食・シャトルバス・プールサイドデッキなど、行列となったり争奪戦となったりで少し疲れました。顔認証システムを使っているがうまく作動していないことがあります。あとホテルズドットコムでは24時間チェックイン可能と書いてありますが、事前に相談し別料金が発生する場合があるようで、結局14時チェックインと思っていたほうがいいです。空港から40分かかりますが、サファリに行くのに近く、全体にコスパがいいです。って

受付：待ち時間が異常に長い。また、並ばせる訳でもないので、順番もわからない。団体と個人は、担当を訳ないのでしょうか？私たちは、写真を撮るように言われなかったので、レストランに行っても、サファリパークに行っても、no picture で、スムーズには入れないし、横入るするアジア人はいるし不快でした。食事:食材はいいですが、パンもパスタも味はもう少し(5starsなら)頑張ってほしい。全体的にオペレーションがもう一つです。ゆったりしたところなのでやもうえないですが。

とにかくスケールが桁外れ、綺麗だし設備には大満足です。　ただ立地が悪く施設周辺にローカルな店舗が無いため　食事はホテル中心になり　食費がベトナム旅行なのに高額になってしまったのが一番辛い　現地の人達が集まるレストランでも食事がしたかった。

湯沸かしポットも洗って！

大型ホテルらしいゴージャス感満載！サービスも行き届いていました。湯沸かしポットを使おうとして、注ぎ口になにやら膜のようなものが… 洗ってみると、麺やネギが出てきてラーメンの臭いが。インスタントラーメンを鍋代わりに使ったと思われます。鍋代わりに使う人もどうかと思うが、コーヒーカップだけでなく、ポットも洗ってほしいです。タオルも黄色のシミがついていました。思いっきり興ざめでした。

広大なリゾートで敷地を一歩も出ずに十分過ごせる。プライベートビーチは透明度はイマイチだがあまり混雑しておらず特にサンセット時はオススメ。カジノもあったがオープンしたばかりなのかほとんど人がいなかった。朝食は種類豊富。レストランは何個かあるがコンビニのようなお店が無かったのは残念。ナイトマーケットまで無料シャトルバスあり。

ファミリーで年末年始に宿泊（子供５歳&３歳） Vinpearl Safari(動物園)：子供も大人も楽しめてOK Vinpearl Land（遊園地）：小さな子供にはちょうどいい（小学生以上にはものたりないか）プライベートビーチ&プール：子供も大人も楽しめてOK 周辺レストラン：少しあるが昼間は閉まっていた。食事はホテル内でとることがほとんどになる点は残念。ただし市中心部のナイトマーケットへ行くシャトルバスはあり。カジノ：オープンしているのか閉まっているのかわからず（ライトアップされていたが、客はあまりいなさそう？？）総論：小さいな子供のいるファミリーにはおすすめ。

The hotel is great in the services, the foods are excellent. The room is excellent. The area is close to the northern part of the island, The surrounding areas are walkable even though it is hot to do that at noon. I am glad that I choose this hotel even though I didn't know much about it in the beginning. I definitely come back and stay at this hotel

We cannot fault the Wyndham, we loved our stay kids club staff were fantastic!! Breakfast options were aplenty the pool and surrounds beautiful!! It’s really well priced and close to everything we struggled with not many staff knowing much English but Tung (I hope I spelt correctly) on the front of house was amazing he could not have been more helpful pointing us in the right direction everytime he is an absolute credit to the Wyndham. we would definitely recommend this place everything you need in one place.

Our plan was to stay 2 weeks but we extended another 2 weeks. First time in phu quoc hotel treated us like we were at home. Service of the hotel was great also staff is excellent. Especially manager Tom helped us so much his kindness was way out of league, also kid zone staffs are so kind. Also food and location were excellent. I hade a great almost 1 month of time here in Wyndham Grand hotel. Thank you so much we will be back next year.

Excellent place to stay

We had an amazing time at the Wyndham. The reception staff were very friendly and very accommodating. We got extra beds in our rooms without charge. The free airport shuttle was a blessing. This is definitely the place to stay in Phu Quoc. The hotel had free shuttles to VinWorld and Gramd world. The free breakfast buffet was excellent. We would recommend the hotel anytime. Good value for money. They also did not take incidental deposit like most hotels. Thank you.

Great room, bad breakfast.

We booked a suite and it was fantastic. Very comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. Hotel is huge with over 1000 rooms, so large concourses. The breakfast was sub par. There were limited choices for a non Asian palate.
