Hotel qui aurait besoin de beaucoup d’amélioration notamment au niveau de la salle de bain. Mauvaise insonorisation ( heureusement il n’y avait quasiment personne). Personnel de la réception très agréable. Véhicule indispensable pour les visites

Gammelt hotel

Hotellet er gammelt og slidt. Meget gammelt og slidt. Der er kun gæster på 5. sal hvilket gør resten af hotellet mørkt og lidt uhyggeligt. Morgenmaden består af thairetter som smager ok. Poolområdet er fint. Receptionisten talte ikke engelsk, men det gik alligevel.

Très déçus.

L’hôtel est très fatigué même selon les critères Thais post Covid. L’ascenseur fonctionnait à peine, les fils électriques dans la chambre partaient du mur, le bruit de la salle de bain de la chambre avoisinante nous a réveillé. Par contre, la réceptionniste était très gentille et très serviable.

The hotel itself is very lovely and clean. Staff are very helpful as much they can do. Its limitation is public transport and sources of information which can help a "lone" traveler as I. I had to use "local knowledge of Thailand in rural areas" to assist me getting a tricycle and a minivan to take me around. The city is very delightful and people are so lovely. Beautiful houses and temples are worth the visit. One of my excellent trips.

Positives: -- quiet, relaxed, feels safe -- spacious room, good air conditioning -- classic hotel infrastructure with beautiful quality teak furnishings and decor from a bygone era -- swimming pool is nice size, beautiful, and looks clean -- good free breakfast, standard 2 bottles drinking water free -- hair dryer, shampoo, soap provided -- good lighting at strategic points in room and bed table Negative: -- sad that this classic beautiful hotel is not maintained will enough to merit 4 or 5 stars; probably because not enough tourists in Phrae -- no microwave, and no electric hot water kettle -- antique Godzilla sized TV (Pansonic) -- sketchy wireless - should have your own smartphone data connection if important things to get done -- sad old bathroom fixtures -- there was a plumbing leak in the bathroom; when taking shower, water leaks from under the tub and gets bathroom floor all wet -- only one socket for charging devices (although Godzilla TV can be unplugged and that socket used) -- rat's nest of wires inside the bed table (no socket) -- very unprofessional So although I would recommend this as a relaxing place to stay, I don't think it merits more than 3 out of 5 stars.

Slept well!

Good hotel on edge of the old city - incredible amount of storage space fit for a king. Lots of wooden furniture in an older style and a great pool. Breakfast was OK.

Nice hotel in city

Had a issue and was contacted about it quickly and was told they would be looking into correcting it so I’ll be back. It was good to have someone at the hotel take notice and trying to make the place good thanks!
