「Good food and drink at the pub that is separate from the accommodation. Slight problem on check in as they had given us a double room instead of a twin, despite sending an email prior to arrival requesting a twin. Staff shortages meant it was a while before the bed situation was sorted but we were in the bar by then so not really an issue. The receptionist was apologetic and keen to resolve the issue so bonus points to her.」

「Noise from the road and the room next door were an issue」

「Room was clean, bed was comfy, parking was easy and checking in was simple. Would happily stay again.」

「Fantastic host looked after us incredibly well, the place is right opposite the Lincolnshire county show ground, peaceful and quiet, we had a lovely walk up and down the bridal path. The host is an artist and showed us her works which is very impressive. The site has a new sauna and hot tubs for guests to enjoy. The breakfast was brought to us at the time we chose. Loved it and would book again if we are in the area.」

「Beautiful place, ideal location, not for the faint hearted if you don’t like hills! Would definitely stay again ☺️」

「Fabulous! The staff are the real highlight of the hotel - they were so friendly, cheerful and helpful. The breakfast was delicious both days and the carpark easy to access. Considering the fact it has a pub attached was also quiet and couldn’t be in a better location for exploring Lincoln Cathedral and castle. Would definitely stay again.」

「The room was clean as was the bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good」

「The hotel is in a good location and nearby are loads of places to eat The disappointing thinks we're prior to booking I mentioned my wife had a disability and would needs walk in shower When I went to check in that had not been actioned and had to be moved The room for someone with a disability was so far from reception a long walk The room itself was like a prison cell 1 small window you could not opening to get some air into the room」

「Helpful friendly staff」

「It is NOT a hotel. Please consider removing it from your lists.」

「Very delicious food, generous breakfast and lunch and dinner options. Outdated and worn out interiors. Not very clean or fresh room. Good parking.」
