Room is compact and wi-fi was weak making it difficult to watch TV or use our devices. The bed is comfortable and the property is in a nice location across the road from Lake Charlevoix.

Cute Little Creek!

We took this trip in this area so we could travel north, south and east. Room was perfect for what we needed. A little difficult to get the room combo. You have to call a phone number to get the code. Other than that, pretty easy. Cute little creek the runs through the property.

They have really spent the time on cleaning and making the property peaceful and relaxing. There’s a little beach area across the street where I sat and watched the lake and read a book and relaxed.

For a mom & Pop type of motel. I could not of been more happy. Check in to care of every need I had. Rooms were very clean and lady at the desk was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again

Cute Motel in East Jordan

South Arms Retreats in E. Jordan is a cute place to stay. Across from the water, the 8 unit motel looks like it has been recently updated with more to come. The room we were in was small by most standards but had what we needed for our mid-week stay; queen bed, fridge, microwave, coffee, A/C, gas heater, fan, tiny bathroom with a decent shower and everything else you’ll need. Remote sign-in and electronic lock entry is convenient and the owners seem very responsive (mostly by text).

Pleasant stay

Our stay was pleasant, but we had one major and one minor issue. The major issue was that the bunk bed bedding smelled like urine, so we were unable to use them and the minor issue was that there was no conditioner or body wash left in the bottles provided in the shower.
