Perfect Staycation

We absolutely loved every second of our stay at Mount Olive Studio. The studio was the cutest and cosiest base camp for our exploration around the surrounding bush land, tracks and pubs. The fact that it is dog friendly make it all the more better. Junko was fantastic to deal with and we are so grateful for her and her partner sharing their beautiful space. Can’t wait to be back!!

We loved it there an so did our 2 fur babies, theres a lot of wildlife around the plc, we had possums checking us out an coming to the back door, we also had kangaroos hanging around to which was great, and waking up to kookaburras laughing 🙂 couldn't ask for anything better 👍🏼

Just Beautiful

Everything you could need for a perfect holiday. Dog exercise area attached to Studio, most comfortable bed ever, full kitchen. We look forward to our next stay!

Stunning private retreat

This was a stunning space, with very high attention to detail. Everything you and your pup could need. Had a wonderful sleep in a beautiful bed and wander around the property with my young dog in the morning. Keen to go back!

Pictures don’t do this little gem justice. The cute studio had everything very thoughtfuly provided for both us and our 2 furbabies. Such a beautiful property to wander through and the dogs had an amazing time exploring. Very friendly and helpful hosts- we will definitely return 😁

Excellent escape in the bush

Mountolive studio was the perfect property for my husband, dog and I who were looking for a relaxing escape to the bush. The property was bigger than I imagined, with so many walking trails for us and our dog to explore, we didn’t even need to leave to go for a walk. We felt very far away from busy city life. The bathroom being out of the main studio and the sound of animals just outside at night took some getting used to, but also added to the being in the bush experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an escape from their busy day-to-day lives.

Love this property, such a good place for my Labrador. He can roam safely around the large compound. Peaceful and comfortable stay. Recommended if you have fur babies and want to let them roam safety.

Generous and beautiful

I am so glad we found Junko and Frank's special place. The rammed earth, timber & glass reaching up to the trees around make the studio feel like part of the natural landscape. We were happy to find bubbles & beer in the fridge, lovely linen, a very fine bed and places for daydreaming . Birds galore. Frogs in a pond. The most wonderful swimming pool ever. Such a kind place to retreat to.
