"We really enjoyed our stay at the ibis Porto Sul. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there (pasta and pizza) and it was great. The beer choices were better than most other ibis hotels. The room itself was clean and the overall hotel was quiet. Our in-room coffee machine was broken but they provided an espresso shot in the morning at no cost. We would definitely stay there again if we were exploring the Porto/Aveiro area or visiting the nearby conference center."

"The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the train station. We were in Ovar for the Spring Carnival which venue is also walkable from the hotel. We liked the quiet neighborhood and good breakfast. The facilities are a bit dated but are in decent condition, They don’t provide water kettles so if you love a cup of tea, you may need to figure out something."

And one day, after I had asked that the maid only do the bathroom (but she ended up doing the bed too as well as my clothes…which I didn’t want), the staff sent me a bottle of their amazing Port wine and delicious nata desserts as an apology. I loved this hotel! "
