"Lovely place. Loads of space for us 4 families to spread out across the 2 separate houses. (Handy to put the teens in the end one on their own). Weather was very hot so we really appreciated the pool, the shade of the walnut tree and the Bluetooth speakers. A couple of extra parasols would have been great, but we managed fine. "Arrival - we found the property with no issues. Property zip code took us straight there. Bedlinen and bathrooms were clean. Flies were a problem, mushroom growing in the shower, tiles in shower need updating and replacing, door latch plates were all loose (made doors difficult to close), we didn't manage to get the tv working at all, light fittings in the kitchen were hanging dangerously from the ceiling, oven very dirty and difficult to light (think the gas jets needed a clean - i gave up),...

"We have just returned from our wonderful holiday at this beautiful Gite in a lovely rural area of France. Amanda & Graham were the perfect hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we had the most relaxing stay with the use of their pool and sunbeds. The welcome gift of wine and treats was very much appreciated after our long drive from England. Easy access to the motorway is close by for day trips out. We particularly enjoyed visiting La Rochelle and Poitiers and doing everything French...

"When you find a great place you just want to keep it to yourself! We had a combination of people/families and the property was well appointed down to many little things that really added value (e.g. the pingpong and pool table were in great shape and had nice paddles/cues etc.) It was clean, well-located, had a lot of usable group place, and the owner was easy-going, prompt and responsive. 5 out of 5 for sure, one of our best VRBO experiences!!"

"We arrived quite late at this property after starting from the UK. It is a small inn and we weren't sure if we would be able to eat there. The host was very welcoming and offered us a table for dinner. There was no vegetarian option on the menu but the owner put together an excellent vegetarian meal for my husband. A wonderful little place which we loved. "

"To be honest, there wasn’t much to like although it was cheap. Pretty much in an industrial area, the rooms are adequate and clean enough but the Aircon was not up to the job and there were a lot of bugs in my room. When we were there the restaurant Was inoperable and we had to look for somewhere to eat on the industrial estate. I might have been more forgiving if they had rung to tell us this as we were arriving late after a long drive.I won’t be going back."
