「Beautiful old hotel. Bit rickety and creaky in the wind but adds to its charm. The staff are very friendly and go over and above.」

「This hotel was probably state of the art 35/40 yrs ago. It’s very well photographed but in honesty… it’s awful. Rooms are worn out, carpets in places are threadbare. Bathroom had various it’s broken or loose. In the evenings was a constant smell of over cooked vegetables that was very unpleasant. Having spoken to locals it’s recently been taken over but it’s in need of HUGE investment I (and neither will my colleagues) definitely won’t be staying there again.」

「The apartment was a bit difficult to find, especially in the dark. Whilst it had everything we needed it was dated and could have benefitted from a deep clean, cobwebs & mould around the windows. The windows also condensed a lot in the morning. None of the heaters worked and only two of the electric storage heaters worked. So we had to prioritise the children’s bedrooms over our bedroom and the lounge. One of the sockets in the kitchen kept blowing the fuse when we tried to use the kettle. When...
