"I hate leaving negative info but for the benefit of future travelers, I have to be honest about a few items with this property: 1. It was absolutely buzzing with flies inside. Spa fantastic Staff helpful Mini bar refilled Only comments is air con didn’t work but they gave me another room in to sleep in at 2am when couldn’t tolerate heat anymore and they waved city fees. No milk with tea/coffee strange. Also a savoury nibble in room alongside drinks would be nice addition We found it disappointing the lobby bar closed at 10pm and LP bar at 11.30pm. I know lots of guests also felt same wanting a late night drink in the lobby. Sweet table in lobby nice however popcorn/pretsels or something savoury would be nice"

"The Afterwork is a lovely hotel. It is in close driving distance to beaches, vineyards, and conveniences like shopping and groceries. It is in a more commercial / industrial surrounding, so no views, but for the price it delivers excellent value. Check in and check out were easy. The hotel room was spacious and well designed. The bed is comfortable with a firm mattress and nice bedding. The room was tidy and well cleaned daily during our stay. We stayed during summer and it was really hot. The air conditioning at this hotel works well and kept us cool while we slept. We did not opt for breakfast but did have dinner one evening. The food could improve. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would return to this property."
