Great location and amenities with two heated pools, hot tub, private beach access and beach service included. Was perfect for 5 adults and 4 kids. Really enjoyed our stay. Ample free parking as well. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay short walk anywhere

Loved summer place. Short easy walk to the ocean. Ease of access to pool and rooms. Parking wasn’t covered but was secure. Short walk to eat at AJS, Hightide and Stewby’s which are our favorite. Room was clean and spacious for a family of 8.

Beach Week

I love taking our family to Fort Walton Beach each year. This was our first time at Summer Place. We enjoyed the location, the ease of pool and beach access, and the beach chair service was a huge plus!

We will be back

Stay was really good. Super nice area for families. Our washing machine didn't work while we were there, they did try to fix it. Would have been nice to be reimbursed for the inconvenience though.

1st time staying here

Everything was great but could have had up to date smart tvs through out the house. Also washer and dryer is awful needs updated. Needs more knives and a toaster with 4 spots so you can get more toast done. We would stay in this unit again just needs small improvements to make it better.

Great Stay!

Condo was as advertised. Great view of the beach/Gulf from 3rd floor. Unit is directly above one of the pools and hot tub which often meant noise from kids playing, but not bad. Condo enforced quiet hour rules, so all was quiet after 10 PM. Was nice to have beach umbrella and chairs included.

Family Vacation

Everything was amazing. The property is very clean and well maintained. The hot tub was closed while we were there for repair but it did not impact our trip. The kiddos had a blast playing in the pool and beach was perfect. Very easy walk out to the beach across a boardwalk thru the sand dune. The location was great as well. 5 minute drive to the grocery store and and we could walk to several restaurants. We will definitely be coming here again!

Love Summer Place

307 was a wonderful introduction for us to the Summer Place Condominiums. Our family slept well on the beds! Plenty of towels provided! Loved that the chairs and umbrella were included!! A few updates would be great! New shower heads, a Keurig coffee maker and metal cooking utensils would be nicer.

Great location and Condo.

Everything was great! Except the beds are terrible uncomfortable! I had seen this in previous reviews. If you have any back or hip issues. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Everything was great but the mattress need replaced! All of them! Hopefully the owner considers replacing them soon! Terribly uncomfortable!

Unit 307

We have been coming to Summer Place for many years and by far this unit was in the worst condition of all the properties we have stayed at. Upon arrival I had to go down and request the manager on duty come up to the unit and remove all the hair that was left on the bathroom floor. The floors were also not cleaned very well from the prior use. The TV/cable kept powering off and on throughout the stay. The deck has bar height wicker chairs but they are cheap and very uncomfortable to set on. There were several missing and/or burnt out light bulbs in the lamps and recessed fixtures. The glass top on the coffee table was cracked and in 2 pieces. The icemaker made ice ok except the ice maker also leaked during the process so it actually made ice blocks instead of ice cubes. The top tray of the dish washer was ready to fall off so we were afraid to use it. The floor tile under the sofa sleeper was cracked and buckling up from the floor. We did not want to open up the sleeper sofa because of the cracked tile. On the cracked tile that wasn’t under the couch, a clear sealant was used to cover the cracks. The couch is very old and the cushions were very uncomfortable to set on. I would not rent this unit again unless the housekeeping improves and several repairs are made.

We had a great time! Would stay again.

This unit exceeded our expectations. The unit was clean and met all of our families needs. The location was wonderful. Having one of the pools heated was very nice. My husband enjoyed using the gym and the grills were nice as well. The view cannot be beat. We would definitely stay here again!

Horrible experience !

This was the worst unit ever at summer place. Shame on the owner and legacy for allowing families to stay in the unit 307. It has mold, not just in 1 place but all over the rooms. Tiles are broken , floors are disgusting, no hot water, broken appliances, floor board are broken off and dirty, ceiling fan has 1/2” of dust. It smelled so bad. How embarrassing. End of story is we had to move rooms and thank the lord a room was available. Who ever is the owner! Shut it down and spend some money to do a complete renovation! If you want to sell give me a call!

Summer place and location was perfect! Love staying close the Anglers and the Boardwalk. The actual condo Was due for a deep clean and updated furnishings. We will stay at the building again.

Review of Summer Place #307

Overall, we had a great stay. View was awesome, and condo was clean and as described. A few improvements would go a long way. Master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced, it's lumpy and hard. WiFi didn't work. There was mold on the hall bathroom liner. Both toilets had issues.

Great time

We have stayed there 10 times over the years and love the location and Summer Place, It’s a smaller complex so it’s not real crowded. The condo we rented this year just had the bare minimum as the kitchen goes. The pots and pans could use updated, skillets was so scratched up we didn’t use it and it had not been cleaned before being put up. I would suggest to brings paper plates and silverware to use as there are only 8 of everything. The were no extra blankets to use. Shower curtain had mildew on it. But the beds were comfortable. And sitting on the deck watching the waves makes everything better. Had a wonderful time

Great location and view

Overall, the condo was nice. It was clean but could use a little refreshing in some areas (carpet is hard to keep clean on a beach; some dresser drawers fall out when you open them) I slept fine but my husband and daughter changed beds throughout the trip to find one they were comfortable in. The location was beautiful and beach service was included. Management was nice and responded immediately when we told them the washer wasn’t working right. However, the owner of the unit had already been told to replace the washer and dryer and did not. Everything we washed became covered in blue lint from something a previous guest washed. The unit also had strong unpleasant smell to it. We had a great trip and I will stay at Summer Place again, but next time I’ll try a different apartment.
