Beautiful views

Overall, the property was very nice. We were not able to lock the living room sliders but there was a piece of wood available to wedge it shut. Also, the one elevator was down the last few days. We loved having the chairs and umbrella available on the beach every day.

Great location!

Complex is in a great location. It is close to the beach. The view is amazing. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. We had two different maintenance issues on two different days. Both times the office sent someone to take care of the issues within an hour.

Great condo and location

We really enjoyed our stay it’s in a great location and very nice to just be able to walk out to beach. Didn’t like that we couldn’t pick our spot on beach and the guest bed was not very comfortable but kitchen had everything we needed to save some money and cook at condo!!

Lovely view

The view is outstanding and this specific unit well taken care of with all the comforts of home. We were not as well prepared for the beach behavior of other guests in The general area. could just be a case of too many folks try g to catch up on their fun after a No vacay 2020

Family vacation

We took our family on this vacation. We actually had four different rooms at this complex. We had a great time together!!! The property managers were very pleasant and we were actually able to check in early. The room itself could use some updates. Curtains in the living area are stained. There was a roach on the wall the second day and when we moved the couch out from the wall there were candy wrappers and lots of dirt behind it. Bathrooms could use some updating. We have stayed at Island Princess in the past and would stay here again but not necessarily in this unit.

Spring Break 2021

This was our first trip to Island Princess and we will definitely be back! We thoroughly enjoyed it! Conveniently located to shopping, food, miniature golf (for the kiddos) and tons of other activities if you’re interested!! There are a few opportunities for the unit itself that I would recommend, but nothing to keep us from staying again. The couch and loveseat could use a replacement. Neither are comfy, and squeak VERY LOUDLY with any movement when you sit or attempt to stand. There was also no hairdryer or Keurig in the unit, which was a bummer. There was a regular coffeemaker in the unit - we just prefer our k-cups! My fault for not verifying beforehand, however, our friends were staying in the unit directly below, and they had both to let us borrow, so it wasn’t too inconvenient. Lastly, the television in the living room is difficult to operate. There were three remotes, without any instruction, which made it time consuming to figure out how to use. My husband was able to figure it out, but I don’t think my daughter (six) or myself were able to get those to work in sync our entire stay. Overall, the unit was super clean and a nice location! We really enjoyed our stay! :)

Island Princess/Okaloosa Island

We come to the Destin area almost every summer and have never stayed on Okalossa Island. From now on we won’t stay anywhere but here! Our condo was right on the beach! Beach service each day was fabulous! You’re within walking distance of shops and restaurants or just a short drive across the bridge into Destin! Definitely two thumbs up from our crew!

Nice location

The location was nice with the ocean view. To get to the beach is a short walk from the condo, pass the swimming pool. Our trip was not optimal giving the June grass was prevalent in the water. The condo was decently clean overall but the vacuum was not working and the knives were very dirty. We had to rewatch all the dishes, knives, utensils, just to be safe once we found that the knives were so dirty (sticky stuff was stuck on them). The walls were not well insulated because we can smell the cigarettes from guests smoking outside from other condos. The kitchen and bathroom could use some update. The closets have extra blankets, bedsheets, pillows but they were on the floor which look unsightly. We love the location but other things in the condo could have been better given the price.
