"The location is lovely, I stayed there primarily because I was driving across country with my pet and the hotel has a little pet friendly beach. The staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel was very tired, peeling paint everywhere, inside and out. Brown tinged water from the faucets and paper thin walls. A budget price for a budget hotel."

"Upon arrival, we learned that there was no beach access from the hotel property. The County or State was working on the beach and had the access completely blocked. I know this is not the hotel’s fault and it cannot control what happens on the beach. My issue is this had been going on for weeks and the hotel should have notified guests with reservations that this was occurring. What is the point of booking an oceanfront hotel if you don’t have beach access? On my previous stay here, you could walk straight down to the beach and rent chairs/umbrellas, etc. Not this time and with no notice, we were completely unprepared. So we had to locate a store, buy chairs, umbrella, etc., and then find public beach access. Again, my issue was no communication -in advance - from the hotel that this was going on. If there had been any prior notice, I could have changed plans, prepared better or decided to cancel the trip. Hotel is fine but be careful."

"This hotel could use some updating. I don’t think the room was worth what I paid. Location is great, bed was comfortable, seemed to have a good breakfast. However the rooms are very dated. The a/c unit was very loud, constantly rattling and whistling. We were only staying one night so we didn’t ask to change rooms. I wouldn’t stay here again. "

"Air conditioning did not work in our room the first 4 days of our 6 day stay. Staff was quick to send repairmen but took 6 attempts and 3 days to get it fixed. Also lots of little inconveniences such as elevator being down, ice machine not working, sinks not properly draining. Nothing to ruin the vacation, I just expect more quality for the price."
