"The hotel itself was great. Big room, clean, easy on/off from the highway near lots of shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. But the restaurant, Matadora, which is like Spanish steakhouse and tapas, has insufficient venting over their grill. Not sure if this was temporary or if it's always like this, but the entire lobby/pool area and really anywhere outside your room (since it's a huge open atrium style hotel) was smoky and smelled of char. Like my wife's hair smelled of it the next day. Not exactly ideal"
