"2 bed room villas with kitchen , and private pools on ocean , free breakfast , staff very friendly and helpful . There is not much to do besides trips to island to snorkel and beach snorkeling . Lots of restaurants, cheaper rates in wet season but higher humidity, and sometimes lots of trash in ocean . There were some mosquitoes in room but they had nets . I stayed 10 nights should have stayed 4 . "

"So I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stayed here. It is quiet and the staff rocks. This property also has a solid gym which is very nice, but the star of the property is the pool. Surrounded by Banyan trees, the pool is a peaceful oasis from the grind. "

"After communicating by whatsapp with someone from Sumberkima Hills Retreat, we knew which villa would be appropriate for us to book. We are in our 70s and have some mobility issues. The villa was easy to access for us and to go to the pools, as well as the restaurants, we could book a shuttle, so we would not have to walk up and down the hills. The problem was that once you were driven there, you were required to walk down, or up many steps. This is just to make people with mobility issues aware of access!! The whole property is truly beautiful and there are amazing views from everywhere you look. From our villa (Asmara 3), we could see the hills and volcanoes in Java, as well as the ocean. At night we witnessed the sunset, and in the morning the sunrise. Taking a taxi down the hills is expensive, so we did not leave the retreat during our 3 night stay."

"We stayed in a city before coming here, wow what a difference. Quiet area, house is off the road which makes it even nicer. Can’t beat being right on the Bali Sea, only Villa we saw with a deck over the water. Our group spent a lot of time on the deck, sun rises and sunsets. The only thing better was the staff, from keeping us in food with wonderful meals to arranging outings with drivers and everything in between. Just a message to the manager or the chef and they would make it happen. Thanks to everyone at the villa."
