Stunning! We will be back

We arrived at night and the road in looks dodgy but this could not be further from the truth. The position is amazing, with stunning views including from the lovely pool. Our complimentary breakfast was exceptional.

The view is BREATHTAKING. This alone should give this hotel 4 stars. Food & drinks from the on site restaurant is delicious and everything is perfectly priced. Definitely recommend this for anyone’s stay in Uluwatu

What a treat

As per usual the staff were absolute beautiful. The place was amazing with a Balinese feel and monkeys coming and going was a bit of a treat. With a continuous ocean view as far as the eyes can see from the infinity pool as well from the restaurant. Absolute hidden gem being a 5 minute walk to the Main Street. We actually booked extra nights. That how good this place is👍

Loved our stay! The breakfast was a full breakfast amazing! Multiple choices! We had an early flight so would have missed it but they had the kitchen box one up for us so we could pick it up at 4AM for our flight! Pool was beautiful! Relaxing place and very close to restaurants!

Amazing place, the view during breakfast and swiming in the pool is breathtaking. Would have stayed another night but they were fully booked...clean simple room but if you want a place to relax by pool and really enjoy this is the place....we had free scooter parking in the front...

Lovely location & landcape

Lovely place to stay in Uluwatu right in the middle of everything. Easy to get around and walkable to a few restaurants and shops. Yoga offered on weekdays at the resort next door. They were able to upgrade me to a wooden cottage, which was lovely, but was located right next to the restaurant and therefore loud early morning and in the evenings. A pack of monkeys came through and though they caused some trouble, it was a really neat experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful (mostly very relaxing) location. The service was excellent & we enjoyed the restaurant. The only thing that disturbed us was the noise from the club next door until 1am on Sat night. We were in a double on that side of the resort so might not affect all rooms equally. Sunday night was quiet so we slept well then. Would recommend a stay but we would try to book a suite on the quieter side next time.

A stunning setting, fantastic views, gorgeous planting. Sadly, the property, especially the pool area requires maintenance. Pool tiles are missing in many places, the pool water stings your eyes suggesting the PH levels are not neutral. Some of the room facilities need replacing eg toilet seat and some fixtures and fittings were loose. In summary, we had a lovely stay but the hotel did fall a little below our expectations.

Beautiful property

The hotel is small and intimate. Our cottage faced the garden and pool but had a sea view as well. The location is OK. Our taxi took us all the way to reception, but if you dont have a motorbike it's a bit of a walk to the restaurants on the busy main road - no sidewalks there. You can walk to Thomas beach back up off the main road, down a very long, steep stairway. The room is large and very comfortable. The staff are excellent! Desi and the others took great care of our every need. The AC was making noise but they repaired it as soon as possible. Beware, however, there is a popular beach club next door and one night they held a massive party until midnight. The hotel tried to warn us via email after we booked but we did not read it in time to change the booking. They comped us dinner. The restaurant has a limited menu but everything we ordered was excellent. Highly recommend Uluwatu Cottages. Contact the hotel directly, not through the hotel app, to see if there will be a party next door before booking.

Bungalow style accommodation in an older resort with rooms in good condition however, some of the areas, including the pool are in need of renovation to improve their condition, which we were told was to be conducted late 2025.

Loved Uluwatu Cottages

This hotel is extremely price worthy. It has a beautiful location, cozy guest rooms, clean everywhere over all and is close to a lot of restaurants and stores. We loved our stay. You van tell that the hotels been running for years but overall it’s very fresh and clean everywhere. They also offer massage for a cheap price at the hotel which was great. Overall an amazing spot to spend you vacation on!

This place has potential. Great service and decent food, plus great location. Pool also nice. The rooms need updating and some TLC. Had an issue with the door right away, where it wasn’t lining up properly to lock, but staff immediately helped and fixed it. The shower… I’ll just say the rooms need updating. The safes need to be bigger for laptops.
