"Hotel was beautiful and new. Very convenient. Staff helpful and cordial.
Just a little reminder at end of stay that we would have appreciated more than two cups and coffee discs. Had to find housekeeper on a few days to get more since we were there for almost a week. Suggested they put more in initially or replenish daily.
Only other issue was loud grating noise when pulling sliding bathroom door closed. Appeared to just need some oil! Staff took note of these issues as we checked out and said they’d pass on. Overall, though, was lovely hotel and will stay there again!"
"My family, ranging from newborns to grandparents, stayed at The Hive for 5 nights. This house was perfect. It is exactly as described and more. The photos do not do it justice. Having been to Paso Robles a couple times, I knew the area, but not with my family. This house checked all the boxes for our family get-together.The house is large. Downstairs is spacious. The two upstairs bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are huge (2 beds each). They were perfect for my son and daughter, their spouses and children. The downstairs bedroom where, my wife and I stayed, was smaller (queen bed), but was still well sized and we appreciated being in a separate space. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, cups and utensils for large family dinners and the outdoor BBQ and seating worked-out perfectly! The first day was hot (mid-90s). After that, temps were perfect (70s to low-80s). We enjoyed visiting outside on the covered patio taking-in the gorgeous vineyard view for most of the day. It was comfortable even at 3pm. We enjoyed sitting outside every afternoon and the BBQ and firepit in the evenings. One addition: They just installed an EV charger on the driveway, which we used! The location is excellent. It is serene and quiet, yet 5 mins from Highway 101! Downtown Templeton is 10 mins. Cayucos Beach is 35-40 mins. There are at least 6 wineries within 10 mins. DoorDash and InstaCart for Trader Joes, Albertsons, Ralphs and a multitude of restaurants are available."
