The cave of Pazin and the castle of Pazin, which inspired the French writer Jules Verne in his novel "Mathias Sandorf", are only a short drive away from the villa. Central Istria is known for small, picturesque, medieval towns that are irresistibly reminiscent of Tuscany or Provence. During your stay in Istria, visit the Euphrasian Basilica (Unesco cultural heritage) in the old town of Pore (30 km), well-preserved Roman amphitheatre in Pula (45 km) or drive to the first beach to enjoy.
