I want to clarify that my negative feedback is directed solely at the hotel management—not the staff. We visited Thessaloniki in early September, when temperatures were still around 30°C, and were surprised to find the pool closed. While I understand the Expedia listing mentions the pool closes at the end of August, it also states that pool availability is subject to weather conditions. Given the heat, I believe it would have been reasonable for management to extend pool access. We stayed at other 4- and 5-star hotels in the area during our trip, and all had their pools open. It’s hard to accept that Wyndham couldn’t do the same. I don’t think my request was excessive or inconvenient—just a simple expectation for a summer-like experience in Greece. The hotel staff were kind and understanding, and even offered us a bottle of wine as a gesture—which I truly appreciated. However, I still find it hard to accept that the only 5-star hotel we stayed at in Thessaloniki had its pool closed during such high temperatures in early September. It seems like that the Wyndham has a poor Management. It was our first stay at a Wyndham hotel and i think also our last one.

Great hotel

The hotel was great and the staff was excellent. The hotel advertised an airport shuttle but only offered taxi service. The pool was closed the days we wanted to use it. The room was great. We would stay there again.

All good except shower

Everything was fine the staff were all very very friendly and helpful. The only problem is the shower, it is totally ridiculous and impossible to wash yourself. I don’t understand the logic in the brain of the person that designed such a shower nozzle.

Decent hotel.

The hotel was decent and in North American style. Parking was available but was not dedicated underground parking. The TVs were a real problem I had to have them replaced twice. The third one was tolerable. Overall a nice and upscale place to stay. Definitely expensive but it was a 5 star hotel after all. If the tvs were better my experience would have been excellent!

I liked that they helped with a dinner, but I did not like that they said they would give us champagne for my wedding and then didn’t. Also, I was told through Expedia I would get my VIP service and did not. The staff for room service and the dining area were off putting and made me and my people feel rushed. The manager was very nice so I feel bad for leaving a poor review. The lifeguard was nice and the front desk staff very nice too. I just thought more of a 5 start hotel and it didn’t feel that way.

La piscine est le petit-déjeuner était sympa. Un grand lit est plus appreciable. Le Night n‘était pas très souriant, je me suis trompée dans la réservation et un des jeunes a dormi par terre sur une couette car il n‘y avait pas de lit supplémentaire ou d‘autre chambre de libre. L‘eau de la piscine est un peu froide et elle ouvre un peu tard à mon avis. Le téléphone et la Clim sont vieillottes. Les couloirs sont bien décorés et propre ainsi que la salle PDJ et la piscine. Nous aurions pu profiter plus et avec plaisir mais nous devions prendre l‘avion.
