Wow. Everything was genuinely absolutely perfect. The hotel is small, quiet, and peaceful. Every single detail is taken care of. Petra, Dora and the team are all so kind and accommodating. I hesitate to leave this review because I don’t want to lose out on a reservation next year when they get fully booked. The breakfast is absolutely lush! We also had drinks by the pool and dinner in the little restaurant. Everything was delicious; flavorful ingredients, nice organic wines, and great portions. My husband and I had a dream of a holiday.

Beautiful small modern hotel. Staff very attentive. Breakfast OK, but not anything special. Did not try evening meels. Facilities limited. Sun loungers surrounded by hard surfaces so baking hot with little shade. Small pool looked nice but narrow so one person and it's full. Nowhere really to sit except where meals served so not during mealtimes. Water unsafe, minibar extremely expensive, and no shop nearby. My beautiful room had a small balcony but with only an uncomfortable narrow shelf to sit on. Distant sea views. Shore 5 mins walk. Area was not pretty. Bins across road, abandoned building site and a rather over developed small village and beach. Taxi to main town was €15, no buses that I could find. Top tip: follow the shore to the right and the scenery and beach gets better. Also a couple of longer walks possible.

Absolutely charming property. Our hosts were amazing, the suite was exquisitely furnished in traditional décor and for comfort on three levels. Wonderful views from the open air top level terrace. Breakfast was a real treat with delicious homemade goodies tastefully presented and plentiful. The hotel is family owned and operated and every attention to detail is perfection. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return! Highly recommended!

Fantastic family-owned and operated Hotel

Petra hotel is tranquil, clean, and attractive. My wife and I enjoyed the fact that it was a couple friendly environment more than a kid-friendly hotel. We were looking for a getaway from the stresses of our day-to-day life, and Petra hotel delivered. The grounds and rooms are immaculate, and the staff was terrific. From the moment you arrive, your every need is taken care of, and there was never a want or need. The breakfast is the best we had throughout our vacation on four different islands. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a peaceful, calm, and stress-free getaway.

Very nice boutique hotel in Grykos. Service-minded and friendly staff. Very clean and facilities were in general well preserved and functioning. However, a lot o stairs and no elevator so travelers with small children should take notice. The price is quite high compared to the standard (we paid approx. 500 Euros/night) but it's a small hotel and we booked with fairly short notice, so that might have had an impact. Lovely swimming pool with pool area offering a stunning view over the sea.

Best located hotel with excellent service . The rooms are very nice decorated with very good amenities . The breakfast was served in the balcony with view of Petra! Homemade products were making breakfast very delicious and special . One of the best hotels I ever stayed .

Exclusive small boutique hotel

It is a beauyiful hotel mote exclusive and private than the nearby aktis. The owners are around and watch around which brings a special care and elegance. If we come to Patmos again we will stay there. The only little criticism we can bring is the room smelled some humidity..some old mositure different than the breeze coming from the see.

Fantastic hotel

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Beautiful location, just 2 minute walk to the beach with great views. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The staff and owners were great, really friendly and helpful, they could not do enough for us. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing stay on Patmos

Kleinschalig hotel met 5-sterren service.

kleinschalig hotel met zeer mooie kamers en suites. Het zwembad is op Patmos vrij uniek en zalig bij het zonneterras. De kamers zijn erg mooi ingericht met adembenemend zicht op zee, Petra baai. Maar wat het hotel uniek maakt is de fabelachtige 5-sterren service. Klein nadeeltje is dat het eten en drinken vrij prijzig is, maar er zijn andere goede restaurants en bars op wandelafstand.

Purtroppo solamente sei giorni in questo affascinante e splendido hotel sulla costa est a sud di Skala, il porto di Patmos, una delle isole più affascinanti del Dodecaneso Appena fatta la prenotazione su Expedia, la reception dell'hotel ha scritto dichiarando la disponibilità per ogni necessità; alla mia richiesta di eventuali transfert per l'hotel dal porto, ha risposto proponendo il loro servizio, con le relative tariffe, ma specificando che poteva essere più conveniente prendere un taxi.. Cosa che abbiamo fatto, visto il prezzo irrisorio (da 5 a 7 euro per corsa..) Prenotata una stanza deluxe vista mare, ho fatto richiesta di due letti singoli. All'arrivo in hotel la gentilissima Proprietaria ci ha informate che in assenza di stanza a due letti, ci aveva assegnato la suite ( stesso prezzo).. L'hotel è perfetto, elegantissimo nella sobrietà e nella semplicità .. la cura per i dettagli commovente.. La stanza era magnifica ed il servizio ineccepibile Una colazione servita sulla terrazza vista mare, letteralmente da principi: cibo curatissimo, cucinato espresso e con ottimi ingredienti (mi sognerò per molto tempo la marmellata di arance); il servizio ai tavoli da impacciati ma educatissimi giovanissimi camerieri davvero gradevole Non credo vi siano molte altre sistemazioni che possano competere con questa Per quanto mi riguarda, tornerò sicuramente! E lo raccomanderò così come raccomando la visita a questa isola meravigliosa
