We had a family of five. The rooms were extremely clean and pleasingly simple and breezy. The grounds were well kept, peaceful, and with wonderful views. Close walking distance to excellent eating establishments. Most of all, the staff were extremely kind and helpful in making day trip plans. We would love to stay here again.

We loved the location of the hotel and the ease from which you could access the bay of Grikos. The hotel is absolutely fantastic, the staff were so helpful and very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing each day, I wanted to take Mary-Ann back home with us. I even had a swim in the pool when we stayed around the hotel for the day. Fantastic stay and we would book agin without a doubt.

Value for money, nice people, easy going, nice views of Grikos bay which can be reached on foot from the hotel in 10'. We stayed in a renovated suite where we were very comfortable. Breakfast is basic but fresh with the best thing being Evalgelia, the cook who is an amazing human being.

Davvero consigliato!!

Golden sun hotel, Patmos

Wonderfull view over Grikos bay from the balcony. Probably the best view comparing with other hotels. Great to eat breakfast with that view. A nice and warm family atmosphere. Very good service from team Adriana, Evangelina, George, Ireni.

Golden Sun is great!! The people are so friendly, welcoming and helpful! It was a great base to our week long stay in Patmos and we really enjoyed it! The only thing I’d say is that it functions more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. The breakfast was incredible though and the views were to die for! Was so sad to leave! We also got daily turn down service which was really nice! We often spent the day out and brought leftovers back to the hotel and they don’t have a restaurant and a very minimal room service menu. If there could be a microwave added for guests to use in the afternoon and evenings that would be great!!! But overall a really nice and pleasant stay! You won’t be sorry you booked!!

Golden Sun August 25

Reception ladies especially Eirin were extremely helpful, hotel needs a good remodeling, rooms are old and not well maintained… location is stunning but condition is not up to the level, a lift would be recommendable, not enough towels for the pool, breakfast should include espresso coffee.
