Girona’s imperious walls were first built by the Romans but were expanded in the time of Charlemagne in the early 800s and then enlarged again in the 14th century.

They are in a good state today following restoration work, and you can set off on a walk along the ramparts around nearly the whole of the old quarter.

There are regular watchtowers with stairways up to the best vantage points to see Girona’s skyline.

We got a little lost in the hills above the entrance to the hotel, which made it an even better adventure when we found it and discovered the uniqueness, beauty and magic of Finca Bell-LLoc. 「La propiedad es un muy lindo hotel Boutique para descansar rodeado de caminos para caminar correr o andar en bicicleta rodeado de árboles. Está cerca de Begur, Pals y las playas. Lo recomiendo para descansar y luego en la tarde recorrer la costa brava. Staff muy amable, desayuno acorde a un boutique hotel de este estilo. Mi única crítica es que la propiedad no está mantenida como debería. Igualmente la experiencia fue muy buena. Lo recomiendo para descansar en un lugar sin ruido ni buñlicio」
