「The Over the Moon Cottages are an excellent location for convenience of being close to downtown Bala amenities and direct access to the lake across the road. We stayed in Unit #4 which was a one bedroom and more than enough space for the two of us. The only hiccup we experienced was no working wifi on the first day which was resolved by the owner for our second morning. 「Amy was wonderful host and ambassador for the Port Carling/Muskoka area making some great suggestions as to sights to see. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and the hot tub was a bonus!. Any hicups we had were quickly addressed and corrected. One of the best features was sitting on the large dock with a refreshment in hand and watching the antique boats cruising by, all in all a great location for a relaxing holiday, thank you Amy, 」

「Property and cottage could use a little more attention to maintenance and upkeep: paddle boat was broken as were most of the oars/paddles, most pool noodles were broken or in rough shape, eaves trough leaks over door to kitchen, etc. Despite that, cottage was comfortable inside and we had a great time! 」

「This beautiful cottage is on a beautiful property with excellent privacy. It has all of the necessities and canoe,paddle board and kayak. It is a gem. The wraparound deck with the large hammock was a favourite of ours during our stay. The dock was reached with ease and was very large with lovely views of the lake. I experienced ease of communication with the rental process. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Paula」

「The location is good. Close to the beach and grocery store. The swim area access slippery and rocky so I recommend to bring water shoes. The lake is not too busy with motor boats so we were able to catch some fish. The hosts were nice and responsive. Overall nice stay.」
