We had a wonderful stay at Casa Bandera. The property was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for our group.Communication was excellent throughout our stay. Ana was very responsive and quickly helped with two unexpected situations: a wasp nest near the BBQ area and an iguana that found its way into the house.The outdoor space was enjoyable, and the property felt secure and well maintained. We appreciated that the pool was cleaned during our stay and that fresh bath towels were provided midway through our visit.The location is peaceful and convenient, about 30 minutes from Quepos. However, visitors should be aware that Manuel Antonio and Uvita require a longer drive, so it is worth planning activities accordingly.There were a few areas for improvement. The kitchen supplies were quite basic, with no dish soap and very few dish towels. There was also no washer/dryer or toaster. We were unable to use the BBQ because no charcoal was available. Bedding was limited for our group, as several beds had only sheets without blankets or comforters.The only other drawback was the pool temperature. The water was very warm during our stay, especially in the afternoon, making it less refreshing on hot days.Despite these minor inconveniences, we truly enjoyed our stay. Casa Bandera is a spacious and relaxing property, and we would recommend it to families and groups visiting Costa Rica.
