"On our way back to the UK we were looking for an overnight stay and booked this Best Western Plus, Le Picardy. This has to be one of the nicest Best Western Hotels. A wonderful and kind welcome from Luana, who also recommended a lovely restaurant a minute’s walk away called La Huit 8. We were upgraded to a very spacious bedroom & bathroom. "Check was confusing, we had to go to the retirement home reception. Room was great, beautiful bathroom. No nearby eateries, ordered in. Don’t bother booking the breakfast,he’d to keep asking for things like plates. "

"Excellent. I liked the self checkin, even the automatic up sell for the breakfast. My room was very neat, tidy and clean. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, blackout curtains, nice tv and it was easy to park. Breakfast was great btw. I’d stay again."

"The staff are very helpful and friendly. Most staff speak some English which is good when you are tired after a long journey and seem to have forgotten any french you knew. The beds was lovely and comfortable and the French external blinds cut out noise and light for a peaceful sleep. The room and ensuite bathroom are clean. The breakfast is continental with plenty to choose from and includes cereal, yoghurt and fruit. There were some eggs, bacon and sausages and a toaster. Coffee very good from the machine. There is also tea and hot chocolate available although no drink making facilities in the rooms. The restuarant serves a variety of starters, mains and desserts and there is a discount for two and three courses. There is no lift to rooms on the second and third floors but there are a few ground floor rooms. Staff will help you with your bags if required."

"A great overnight stop en route to skiing . Secure car park a big plus ! Arrived late but reception was open and very helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable although hairdryer would be good ! Breakfast good . Overall, great . Really good bar a short distance away my kids tell me 😀"
